hey guys

i found a set of front parking assist sensors in white, i remember asking toyota and they want bout $300

but i found a limited stock for $75+$15 shipping, which is still a bargain

only problem is that it says its for 2009 aurion and onwards. which is the second series, but my car is 1st series.

any chance they will still work? all the wiring is all the same?

I assume they would work, however you would probably need to do your own wiring on top of the wires that are provided to create a switch so you can turn on/off the front sensors (as you wouldn't want it beeping while driving in traffic ;)).

The kit includes (according to the seller) wires, sensors, buzzer and instructions - which is probably most of the things you will need.

Mine are on all the time, but they don't go off in traffic - only when someone crosses the road right in front of my car and passes close to the front or back bumper.

Yes they will. I just put a set in my 2008 atx. But had to:

1. Paint the sensors to my colour

2. Change the wiring positions in the plugs that piggyback into air conditioning control wiring.

3. Modify templates for holes in front bumper for sensors.

But switch, wiring, ecu, etc all fit where they are supposed too.
