A run on a dyno will simply give you a read out of power produced by the motor.

Best option for price is to wait until theres a dyno day and it shouldnt work out to be any more than $50, although depends on how many runs you choose to do.

You can get them done at most big well know workshops; Croydon Racing Development etc.

dyno's are cheaper in groups.

all the prices are for dyno days (group bookings)

Race solutions penrith - $50

SAS silverwater - $45

insight motor sports - $55

dyno service and performance castle hill - $50

autotech - $50

UNIGROUP - $50

can't remember which ones are in arndell park and girraween by name.....but you get the drift.

3 runs are included in the price and some with lunch and some without.

use the search button fro more info. :D

Group:

Protek Performance (Preston) - $40

Kamakazi Motor Sport (Blackburn) - $45

NT Performance (Footscray) - $40 incl Lunch :D !!

Dyno runs - 2/3

Printouts - Max KW, HP, Air fuel Ratio + constructive feedback from the dude/dudet and a free peerve (i.e. NT Performance Grrr grrr purrr purrr)

1zzfe's will put out between: 75kw --- 90kw.. ... ..

Stivo's (aka lifta-matrons) will put out between 95kw --- 120kw+

always varaialbe due to:

- Service (oils etc)

- CAI

- Rice bits (hehehe)

- Other go fast bits (clutches, pipes, dry ice... ..)

- Weather (heat soak etc.)

- Dyno calibrations (always good to do in groups/back to back as individual dynos are pretty much useless)

- Fuel (Boosters...)

- Running in period since last ECU resest*

Can dyno's offer better tuning for our cars? Or is that a different cost all together?
