Hello all. I'm alphabeta777 and I'm a user on wikipedia, the free Internet encyclopedia. I uploaded images for use on the Toyota Aurion page that I took at the Sydney Motor Show last year in wikipedia ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Aurion

However, as you can see if you click them, they aren't very good as they are out of focus.

Unfortunately, as I am only 16 years old, (who says only old people like Toyotas?) I don't think it's a good idea to go up to a dealership and ask for permission to take photos of the Aurion.

As a result, I come here asking for any contributions of pictures of the Aurion (your own or anyone elses) that you have taken.

Wikipedia is specific as to images uploaded have to have the correct licence. Those who allow their pictures to be used on wikipedia must allow all readers of wikipedia the right to copy, redistribute and modify that picture. For more information see -----> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GFDL

By giving permission, you have to agree that your image may be used for:

1. Modification

2. Redistribution

3. Use for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

If you would like to contribute an image so I can perhaps upload it to wikipedia under the GFDL, please post your image of the Aurion/Aurions that you have taken and state in your post that you licence it under the GFDL.

Thanks for any help in advance.

By the way, if any of you see anything wrong in the content of the article or anything to add, don't hesitate to do so yourself or tell me.

Any specific angles you want of the car?

Ill be able to get you a few (Not like the ones in my DP, that was a extremely rushed job and at night and on a phone) but not for a couple of days. The aurion going in for new front skirts......and its only a month old...not expensive beleieve it or not...still annoying to think there new with gouges all down them.

Some other people might beat me to it anyway.

The Aurion wiki by the way is very good with alot of useful information.

good job on that Aurion wiki :)

I was looking for overseas Aurion a couple of months ago and stumble upon the Middle East website... http://www.toyota-mideast.com/aurion/index.html

Some good photos there and the middle-east spec/name of the Aurion is different too. Maybe these changes can be incorporated into the wiki?

Oh dear....

toyota middle east - aurion - exterior

Claims the rear LED's improve fuel efficiency?!

I call BS! :)

could be true! LED does use less power to standard conventional bulb -> http://www.thekeeslinggroup.com/lighting/L...nformation.html

even cheaper with OLED!

Well, I suppose they did quote 3kW's advantage using the LED's...

Still, it's funny to see something like that when usually a bumper sticker has the same power advantage (nil, lol)
