what did you paint it with?spray paint?did you spray primer on it beforehand?if u didnt, that might be the case.

yeah i used spray paint and i did put primer on it. 2 coats of it.

looks like you sprayed it too thick

yeah, you're right. i think i got abit excited. sprayed the 2nd coat (even this time) and it looks much better

Looks good! but did you do a bit of light sanding before you laid down the base coat (primer)?

what bout clear coat? you gonna be doing that too?

i thought you painted the first pics with hammer finish....... hammer finish is a painted surface which looks like its been hit by a hammer lol. until i saw the finished product.

thanks guys, yeah i did abit of sanding. i didn't put any clear coat coz i was too excited to bung it in me engine... :D

That looks like it has fried up due to the cover having traces of silicone on it(armourall etc etc). Be sure to rinse the cover with thinners or wax and grease remover before you paint.

Secondly use plastic primer as it has a sort of elasticity in it to allow flex with out cracking the painted surface. I use 2 coats of this then apply 2-3 coats of colour followed by 2-3 coats of clear. Allow ample time in between coats for drying before applying the next coat. If you do this then you will have greats results.

These are the methods I use and my results pretty much speak for themselves.

Just worried because of the amount of sh*t I cleaned off it today - imagine if it was white, I was thinking :lol:
