I am newbie from Hong Kong, My car is 2005 ZZE123 1800cc, M/T, I want to know is there any different for the TRD Sportivo Suspension Full Set after 2004?

I found that have 2 different part number

1. 48030-ZE210 & 48130-ZE210 for COROLLA RUNX ALLEX (ZZE122・123 and 01.1-04.4)

2. 48030-ZE230 & 48130-ZE230 for COROLLA RUNX,ALLEX (ZZE123 and 04.4-)

Best Regards

As far as I"m aware the the difference in part numbers was just Toyota superceeding the pre face lift models struts as they kept collapsing/leaking/creaking due to being built in SA. Later (04 on)parts were all made in Japan so my mates at Toyota tell me.

I think he's talking about the TRD Sportivo Shock/Spring set that Micky and Daz have. I'll see if we can find a part #.

If Silva is right then I don't see it being a problem in terms of fitment.

the part that me and Micky got is:

1. 48030-ZE210 & 48130-ZE210 for COROLLA RUNX ALLEX (ZZE122・123 and 01.1-04.4)

i was told that JDM facelift ZZE123 comes with front strut bar as standard which contribute the minor difference of the parts

They should be the same as the only changes were to do with internal construction.

  • 4 years later...

Hi digging up a old thread I know,

I have the TRD Sportivo spring/shock set 48130-ZE230/48030-ZE230, I want to lower it some more apparently they already lower the car by 30 mm.

Basically I want to lower the car another inch or so and wonder what would happen if I installed king spring super lows (50mm drop)

would that give me an additional 20mm drop?

Thanks.

im guessing changing the springs on the shocks that were already made for that spring would cause problems the same way as putting lowered springs on standard struts (leaking, knocking etc.)?
