6x9 in corolla sedan

Ive thought about doing this as well, when you open the boot and look under there seems to be a cutout of 6x9's.

But ive heard that if you cut into that shelf you are weakening the rear structure of the car and hence not roadworthy :S I hope i am wrong as i want to know as well.

Pretty sure that's the sad truth. Not allowed to cut any metal out of your car at risk of damaging structural integrity. You would need an engineering certificate I guess.

If there are alreay holes big enough then giddy up :toast:

If not, it's JB Hi-Fi MDF spacers for you
