Hi guys,

Im just new to this thing as i recently purchased an '02 Levin hatch about a week ago. I'll post some pics up shortly of the car. I got the car from a toyota dealer and it came with the plates [sORA] , lol any idea what this could mean? I'm very happy with the car as i have been dying for a corolla hatch for the past few months now and i finally got my hands on one :yahoo:

Im more about the looks of the car rather than performance, any ideas?

Thanks guys.

Welcome Lukey,

The plate would mean Soarer, even though it would be more ideal for a Toyota Soarer still not bad.

A nice set of 17's and lowering would set it off nicely.

Grille & eyelids if you like them...

Otherwise not too much.

The previous owner must have got married. Picked up the bird in the soarer, married, sold soarer for her car. then upgraded to a camry or sumthin stupid like that. The plates worth a pretty penny on there own.

Once saw a 200b sell for $35k at auction for a set of NISSAN plates. The car was scrapped. Guy walked up, unscrewed the plates and dumped the rest.

Sorry for the delay people, well here she is.

The only thing that has been troubling me of late is that it's auto not manual.

Conversion maybe lol?

Oh wow, are those JDM Head/Tail lights? looks sweet. Black rims, lowered and your car will be looking sweet :)

Yep good spotting... JDM tail lights and JDM headlights... Luk3y can you tell us what type of bulbs you are using in the headlights? I'm guessing H4's

You already have eyelids and grille so a nice set of rims and a lowering job later you will have a nice looking ride

if you really feel the need to convert the car to manual.... just buy a manual.

It's far cheaper and much less headache in the long term.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm not to sure what bulbs are being used for the headlights, all the after market stuff you see on the car is how it came.

I've had it for only a month now and i'm very happy with it. Im a big noob with the car scene as my last car i would even barely look at lol.

Would definitley love to lower it and put some nice rims on it.

Manual comes into mind at times when people zoom past me at times :( .

Is it still possible to make it a quick car even though its auto?

No. Not quick, just quickER

If you want a fast car you've bought the wrong one. Even Sportivo's aren't super-quick (flame away boys).

What the Corolla does offer is a million other things like fuel economy, drivability, reliability, occupant safety... And so forth :D
