MICRO COMPRESSOR

Recommended Posts

Sounds like crap. No mention of pressure achieved or dyno results for power/torque. What's it cost?

My scepticism stems from the fact that we all know how big and heavy turbo and superchargers need to be to achieve adequate boost pressures. So how is this tiny thing going to achieve anywhere near the pressure required to make any difference to an engine? If this is all that it took, why wouldn't manufacturers have been doing this all along?

Why would any one buy a turbo setup for about $7,000 when you can get all the same benefits plus better reliability for just $99.

What a joke...

I had a friend with an IS200 that put one in and he claimed to have gained 30kw at the wheels with dyno graphs to prove it. Needless to say he could never produce them and the sportivo thumped him by he same margin it did pre-microcompressor.

If it sounds to good to be true, it is.
