Hi guys,

Have a corolla 03 model. Have anyone done a proper DIY grounding in their engine bay? any tips on doing it urself (pics most welcome!!)

Any significant improvement to their ride?

As with any grounding wires and or any wire for that matter.....the BIGGER THE BETTER!!!!

and oxygen free copper or gold help for the wire type :D

You can just see one end of my blue grounding cable attached to the front of the left hand strut tower in my garage pics. The other end is on the engine block.

IMHO, it improved nothing significantly. An upgrade of battery and/or alternator would do more for voltage and current stability.

Hey Craig, when are you ever posting the photos up?

There is a quick shot of one in my garage. If I took a photo of the whole setup it would be hard to see.

I'll have to take a few things off the head...but ill see what I can do...sorry i forgot all about this thread guys :(

URBAN AUTO TEK do a grounding kit for a corolla for $40 for 4 wires in a choice of colours(red,blue,silver,coffee etc) and terminal colours(gold and platinum/silver).

Wire kits with platinum terminals are $46 due to the extra cost of the terminals.
