Long sleeved shirt/long pants, no loose objects

in cars, have your tyres 4 – 5 psi higher than normal, and drivers must have

an approved crash helmet.

Hey people! I think we've been talking about going on the tracks, have some fun with our car and see what the corolla (or any other car you own) is capable of! So I am thinkin of organising a day out to the AHG Driving Centre (next to Perth International Airport)

Basically, we will be doing the AHG Performance Driving Course and

- you can bring your OWN car and drive it on the skidpan

- no special licence required, as long as you have a licence you can join!

- you would need a approved crash helmet thou**

Quick break down of the event

- 4 hours sessions with 30 mins theory on driving technique (vision, seating posture, cornering and breaking techique, smooth driving and weight transfer)

- you get a fully trained instructor in your car for the first few laps telling you things you need to know and need to do :)

- the rest of the time? YOU HAVE FUN!

TIME:: Morning [8.00am - 12.30pm] - Arrive @ approx. 8am! Dont be late!

DATE :: 5th of April 2008

VENUE :: 46 Grogan Road, Perth International Airport WA 6105

Just thot you want to know! If you thinking that maybe your car is just normal and nothing special so its not much point going cause you going to feel left out then think again :) the last time i went to one of these :P i was prob the slowest car around. There were rx8, mr2s, skyline, supra and all those jazz around but bottom line is as long as you have fun it doesnt matter if ur the slowest or the fastest!!

There is a limit of 16 drivers PER SESSION but from past experience I think we shold limit it down to 10 people as you get more time on the pan and not waiting for most of the time :) (first come first served)

i would prefer people from tocau coz we organising it in a way that we hire out the place :P but if you have a friend that want to come :) by all means i dont mind.. i dont think anyone minds :D

i will call up asap and set a date :) then if neone wants to pull out they can and if people that want to go on i need you word that you dont pull out.

i dont know how the whole thing works but i think i'd have to pay deposit so if i tell you e.g. 750 between 10 of us .. everyone pays 75 and if someone chickens out last minute the other 9 people would have to split the 75 that was suppose to paid by the person that did not turn up..
