Encountas stivo seems to have some issues with his air/fuel ratios but he managed 100kw

yeah don't know what's going on here...

should of got something inbetween them two's output... but no where near...

oh well, i'll let the track do the talking...

but then after that, time to upgrade to something with a nice snail under the hood...

but i know how that guy with the R32 Golf feels...

Sounds like a dirty maf or something Epicounta.

hmm, fingers crossed that's the problem...

& i just checked/read and searched many threads....

I brought my CAI in the 2nd group buy, and it's now onto the 5th...

I haven't cleaned my MAF sensor or filter at all, and the CAI was installed about 10 months ago now...

Time to get onto that tomorrow, or in a few hours time now...

Thanks

hmmm, even more weird...

makes me feel abit better though after seeing these figures now...

For example,

- Renault 2.0L Clio's; - stock= 100.2,

- ECU Remap= 98.6

- ECU Remap, Panel filter= 103.9

- Mazda 2.3L SP23's; - headers=99

- SRI, Adv Timing= 97.4

- AUTO, CAI, 2.5" full exhaust, adv timing= 98.4

- CAI, full exhaust= 98.4

- Corolla 1.8 Stivo's; - stock= 106.9

- CAI= 99.2

- CAI and 2.5" exhaust= 115.9

- Honda 2.2 Preludes; - stock= 106.5

- stock= 104.9

- Catback, exhaust, K & N Filter= 108.3

- Intake, exhaust= 117.4

- Evo 9's; - Intake,Exhaust, Boost Controller, Tune= 199.8

- Exhaust, Boost Controller= 208.3

Now I know there are many many different contributing factors that could be effected...

But you would like to think that mod's you do, give you more KW's or even more KW's than stock.

But guess in the end, it depends whether the driver feels the difference in the mod's they purchase, whether they're happy with it and whether they're going to utilize it to there full potential, like going to the track/quarter mile etc.

Like people have said, your time & the mph down the quarter mile is the best indication of your car's performance...

And of course that has to be done down a proper timed track (like W.S.I.D) and not some back street with your mate and a stop watch...

That is true!

Mate just give the maf a clean because that does play havoc with the 2zz

Yeah, brought some cleaner today, took the MAF out, and it was pretty dirty, got to clean it properly still though..

Need to also buy a new K & N filter (or maybe something else) for the CAI, 10 months not washed and 10 months worth of dirt there, haha...
