Great article... oh so true.

Nothing worse than left wing hippies who fight every cause known to man... and half these hippies refuse to support 'the machine' that is industry, so, rather than buy a new car, they'd rather keep driving the old VW Kombe Van etc - unbeknown to the fact that these vehicles don't actually have catalytic converters, and thusly spew out carbon monoxide everywhere.

Do not gridlock and congested traffic situations actually cause greater fuel consumption? Surely by allowing free flowing traffic, fuel consumption (and thus, greenhouse emission levels) would actually drop somewhat... ??
