And it has to be up for sale from someone who has been around here because they had to get the second photo from somewhere.... like the ones I took in the following post:

I love it also, some TRD mesh would look sweet but don't put a TRD badge on it cos it ain't, take the rest of the badges off of it and keep every 1 guessing. I would leave it matt, it looks great.

Hey Jin first of all thanks for the write up on how to install the grill..i have ordered one of these grills and I am pretty sure it is going to come with a white mesh just like yours..since i got a white car i think i will have to paint just the mesh black and leave the frame same because it matches the other parts of the bodykit..ok now i am going to sound like a noob but i wanted to ask what did you use to spray the mesh? i am guessing it is a black spray paint can from bunnings? if so do u remember any particular type i should be looking for or just anything works? Cheers buddy :)

a better option would be to go to auto pro/supercheap/repco.. buy a pack of the black mesh (29 bucks) and remesh it.. you'll find the mesh is finer, and if your really keen, double mesh it for a darker look. See pics of Defyant's front grille, i double meshed that one before i sold it.

if you wanna spray it, get some primer to pay down first and simply go to super cheap auto and buy some car paint (12 bucks a can) to the colour you like..

thanks mate..i think i could try one of those methods..but first i will install the mesh as it is and see how the car looks like with the white mesh..could see how it goes with the white body colour..will put up some pics here and you guys can tell me what you think too :)

Just got my grill yesterday and put it on :)..installation was easy.. Thanks for the installation pics..that really helped a lot otherwise i would have snapped off the original grill :P...ok before everyone gets upset seeing the TRD badge on a non-TRD Aurion, i put that on because it looks so empty to leave it just with the black mesh..it has a complete feel when there is a badge since the Toyota badge isnt there..and i couldnt find any other badge that goes well with this face ;)..since i got the mesh already sent black i dont think i have to go with any painting option i was thinking of..

if i were you i would leave it badgeless at the front.. trd.. well everyone has their own opinion regarding that so we wont go into that.

by the looks of the picture you could do with a remesh for a few reasons

1. to make it darker so you dont see all the radiator etc

2. it seems that the top of the grill is sagging a bit. you can use new mesh to prop the framework of the grill up. i had to do this with my previous sports grill and it worked a treat.

looking good thou, will have to get you out for a photoshoot sometime?

Yup I will try to double mesh it when I get the chance because I can see the radiator clearly in the daytime more than the mesh itself. As for the colour of the mesh I think I am going to stick with black because I think it goes alright with the other parts of the kit..

The top part of the grill looks like its come down/saggy more because of the bonnet protector in my case..I will see if I can fix that gap up..too lazy actually :P

And as for the badge I am thinking of taking off the TRD and go with badgeless..i just put on that badge because i found it lying around :)

And photoshoot sounds nice..give me a shout when you guys are meeting up somewhere next :)

      FUEL WARNING MESSAGE

      On my 2002 Prado, the fuel transfer pump has a fuel filter which can block, causing increasingly less fuel transfer between the tanks. It may be the same for the Cruiser too. I have not yet had an issue with mine even at 250000km, but that is low mileage for a 2002 Prado. I hope that you have a filter that can be easily replaced. It could save you a pump replacement.

      2002 Hilux Engine Replacement

      Unless you can identify which engine your Hilux has now, you may be better off finding a good 5LE engine and return it to stock. Nice to have a Turbo diesel though. Have you tried taking a photo of the engine and posting it so others can advise what engine you have. It may be better to have your engine overhauled. If you can locate the engine number (should be on the registration papers if the engine swap was done legit), you might be able to ID the engine that way too. Do you know why the engine seized? It may be possible to overhaul your engine cheaper than replacing it.

      Transmission clunk

      Hi all, Recently completed a long drive. Check engine light came on, traction control off light came on, unable to use cruise control. Pulled immediately over all oil level were good and no leaks. then when accelerating through the gears ( automatic Prado ) hearing and feeling a clunk on each gear ( like it was hard to select). Prado is unable to go into 5th & 6th gear. Maxed out in 4th gear at 90km/h @ 2500rpm. Later in the drive DPF light came on though I have a July 2015 build. DPF introduced in October 2015 that I am aware off. Any ideas at all would be grateful!

      Yaris Cross roof rack

      Hi all, I’m looking at purchasing a Yaris Cross GXL however I can’t seem to find any official roof rack for the car On the Toyota website it doesn’t show a roof rack protruding like the Corolla Cross GXL I know you can get roof racks that slide under the door however I don’t see any official listing Interestingly enough Toyota offer an official bike rack for the Yaris, Corolla hatch etc but not the Yaris Cross Rhino-Rack offer a third party roof rack for the “TOYOTA Yaris Cross Gen1 5dr SUV Bare Roof” but I’m a bit hesitant to use a 3rd party roof rack on a brand new car. Do you know if this would cause any warranty issues etc? Another option would be to get a Corolla Cross GXL. However the Yaris Cross would be perfect if it could have a roof rack as I don’t need the extra size, engine and price point of the Corolla Cross. Happy to hear your thoughts

      FUEL WARNING MESSAGE

      I've just got a price from Toyota up here in QLD for the whole replacement unit... (OUCH!!!! 😭) I would share more information on my investigation so far, but apparently, I am a spam bot and can upload pictures, but not write the story to go with it.... without being pulled up for it...... I can tell you that I am getting no suction on what I believe is the fuel line from the sub to main tank. I am however getting 13v on the fuel pump connection. It comes on for a moment before going off. I'm guessing because of this error. Perhaps the rail stops delivering power..... My next step is to apply 12v to the pump and see if I can hear it in the tank making any noise. Surely, I'd be able to hear something with the car not running - if it is working?

      Hilux 2.7 1998 has knock in motor

      A recently purchased 2.7 hilux seemed okay, but when started up (warm) a clunk happened then a loud knock started. The coolant drained out, perhaps into the engine, but being unfamiliar with the vehicle I am unsure what has happened. Any suggestions and possible remedies would be appreciated. Higgyboys

      2017 Kluger AWD. Noise in Cabin - Bearing/Diff. Not Sure.

      Chiming in from the States here, I have a question. I am assuming your Kluger's have the same UA80 transmission as we do? When you say the transfer case was replaced, was it the physical "transfer case" or the transmission? We have similar issues here where the UA80 starts "whining" needing a complete transmission replacement.
