Hi, i am new to this forum and have recently purchased an black 2005 sportivo with a major stone chip problem on the front bar and bonnet. Its like the previous owner regularly travelled behind trucks or something. Anyway i want to take off the front bar and bonnet and get them resprayed. I would like to know how hard it is to remove the front bar (how many screw/bolts there are etc) from the car. I am super paronoid about taking the whole car to a spray shop cause they are sure to flog the absolute beegeezuz out of it while its getting fixed. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Nope, the headlights sit attached to the chassis. The front bar is separate from the headlights.

there is quite a few bolts underneath the front bar that connect to the splash guards under the motor. and also some more in the wheel arches were the bar joines the arches.

And 2 or 4 bolts at the top when you open your bonnet, where the grille attaches to the chassis.

Flat head screw driver to pry the middle clip upwards

Then it comes loose and u can pull the whole clip out from the housing.
