Hi all

This is my first post but have followed the forum for a time

since buying a sportivo (2004 year) not knowing what I was getting into, was

looking to buy a small corolla for my partner after the camry was

written off. That's the back ground so my problem is like a few

others have had LIFT ok took it back to my dealer service manager <_<

says not to rev it to high his feelings are that 4000 rpm is the max

So any SA members know a good dealer that can fix it. :)

thanks

CMI southside

They should be alright, my old boss takes his Celica there... Just don't EVER go to Jervis Toyota... EVER!!! I've heard plenty of not so great reports...

Search for keywords as "rattle", "gear" and "selector" on this forum and you'll shall find the answers.

I always went to Cornes Toyota before I moved, could give them a try, but they are part of the CMI group anyway...?

Welcome - I wish more of the Adelaide owners would pipe up. It gets lonely cruising by yourself...

Anyway, I bought the car from and use Northpoint for service. They are great if you ignore miscellaneous charges for fluids that they don't actually use.

I almost went to Peter Davey on Port Rd for my last service, but chickened out the day before as their service bay was smaller than my garden shed and lacked the look or professionalism.

Haven't used anyone else so can't comment sorry.

sportivo's must be few and far between only seen about 4 down

south and it looks like the dealers don't know how to maintain

them. I can see why they are not more numerous.

Waiting for the dealers head mechanic to get back to me may be he

will be able to help

Bougt from Peter Davey Main north road and I Get serviced there - absolutely no problems with them.

Whenever the car needs a wash, I go and get a service ;)

oz_viking > Their workshop is actually across the road and behind their used car yard! The entrance is deceptively small, but they have a huge area you cannot see until you step into the workshop.

Out of couriosity, What is the average price you are paying for a service?

I think all mine have been between $130 and $160.

ausportivo - welcome to the forum!

We should try and get together sometime for a little run somewhere - we need to see more than 2 at the same time/place in SA! - What colour did you go for ?

It was Peter Davey's Port Rd service area was talking about - I've never actually noticed their Main North Rd workshop. I may give them a go next time...

I paid $156 for my 20,000 km/12 month service.

Silver the only colour on the lot  5 stivo's together would be a site thats the most I've seen 3 Silver and 2 Blue in total at different times, did park up next to a Blue stivo at Garden Island but no driver around love to get other drivers veiws on the car

Not being a car enthusiast bought it on the spot not knowing about the Sportivo so I'm on a learning curve thats how I found the forum
