TOYOTA...pioneers?

Just wondering is Toyota the quiet achiever with their ideas but dont want to brag? Correct me if iam wrong but didnt the corolla wagon have rear lights in the

pillars and then Volvo and some Honda 4WD's after that? Then came the Lexus IS200 tail lights and that whole clear lights thing took off,didnt it? but my favourite would be the time attack look(ahead of their time) with the AE92 GTi factory hubcap..

Close but not quite. The Holden Apollo was the result of the button car plan and badge-engineering. Toyota got the Lexcen in return.

I think the Nova was ok.Friend of mine had one as company car and had Toyota stamped all over it..At least Holden gave it 1.8 later on but Toyota only put it the AE92 Seca RV to get rid of the shells to make room for the AE101
