I paid $185ea with free fitting for 205/55R16s on special.

That should give you some idea how good the price is. :)

Gav.

hey Gav

thx for replying.

so i guess its a good deal

i dont get why sometimes larger tyres(eg. 205/xx/xx) are cheaper than the smallers ones (eg. 195/xx/xx)

fair off topic but im running 215/45/17 RE001 and after 7,000km approx i rotated front left to back right and front right to back left and the fronts were down to about 50% tread left i reckon, whilst the rear were still great, now the good tread is on front but i reckon i will be lucky to get 20k out of this set of tires, dont get me wrong, great tyres but the soft sticky compund wears very very fast, i dont drive excessively hard either....prior to winter 2010 i will def need new tread or earlier. i only bought them as they were on special for 200 a corner.....next set i want bit less performance and more longevity i think.....food for thought

so around 30k.. that sounds abit less than what i was expecting

i would prefer longevity over performance

save $$ :P

15" is whats going on....many great tyres are cheap in those sizes

guess the stock rims save me some money hehe

yeah i wont know until they are fully gone i guess but i was stunned when i did the rotation .....i was thinking im glad i only payed 200 per corner....at normal price 300 and lucky to get 1 year out of id be ******....tread wear was even and no camber damage as i check pressure prob fortnightly but wear was significantly greater on front to back in only 6000 odd km travelled....have done about 9k now with the rotation having occured 2000 odd k's ago

something is not right, the er592 should sell for less than the adrenalines

check what you are getting.

whitestivo

thx for the advice whitestivo

thats what they quoted me on the phone just then

i will drop by their shop tomorrow morning

so does that means its more worthy to buy the adrenalines?

since im paying less compare to getting the er592

oh btw it was ur 1000th post

congrats i feel honoured :toast:

your welcome

i had the er592 before, and upgraded to the adrenalines.

it depends what you want. the 592 will last longer, and are very comfortable.

the adrenalines brake, steer and perform on another planet compared to the 592

whitestivo

im just curious why they are selling the adrenalines cheaper than the ER592, as you said.

i still dont know which one to choose yet, comfort or performance

but i will need to make up my mind before tomorrow

cos dont want to leave it anymore longer

Take it easy to moderate on them for the next 1000km or so, then take your Rolla out for a spirited drive and you'll see how good your choice was.

and how little time they will last lol....bitter sweet....short life great grip

Hey D35, congrates on the new front rubbers! :spiteful:

If you don't mind me asking where did you get that quote? I also need some new rubbers soon on the Sportivo.

Also, what other varieties of tyres can be considered good for the Stivo? Michelin Pilot?

Cheers

Hi D35,

I am interested on this offer as well ... would you know when this expire?

Hey Yuri,

The special offer is " purchase 2 or 4 tyres in one transcation, you get wheel alignment for free"

it ends at the end of this month.

i doubt you really needed those vouchers, BUT they did ask if i have them, and i just showed it to them, however they didnt even take away it from me.

so i have a couple of them for anyone who needed it, just incase.

i will post up the address and name of dealer after i get home.

Cheers

hey guys

so here is the details

Jobsons Discount Tyre & Mechanical

106 Beamish St Campsie, 2194

9718 7555

Talk to Richard or Justin.

apparently their prices vary according to their stock levels.

as the first time i dropped by their shop in the morning yesterday, i got quoted $135 for the Adrenalin

then i called in the afternoon, it became $130, as they get more stock of them.

so, call them before you go in.

hope this helps!
