Hi all Stivo freaks,

After 3 weeks of driving my new stivo, AWESOME. May be i been driven it for more than 2 weeks from now, i find that the power it given me is not as good as when i first picked up my car 3 weeks ago.

i m going to order a AEM CAI, KnN Filter and the unichip this weekend but b4 i do that i just wanna know will the above mod void my new car warranty?...i m very worrying about it if it does.

Also just wanna find out how good it would be if i done the above mod without getting the exhaust done..coz i dun want it LOUD......

make sure you read the part about the unichip.

With regards to the exhaust it all depends on how free flowing you make the muffler.... straight through will be load but to restrictive will loose power. I have heard the CES exhaust and it is not load at all.

Ronny - The first advice I was given with my Sportivo was not to put a Cannon on it and Sportivo_Rice will be able to talk to you about power loss with one of those...

Definitly dont get a cannon muffler if you are concerning with noise....

I had an x-force on mine and OMG i loved it for a while because of how load it was but then i got over it and man even with the silencer in it was loader than some full exhaust system i have heard

I think too that for the $900.00 - $1000.00 that yu pay for the CES system, which is a stainless custom system for the Sportivo, you are not only getting a system that as I mentioned earlier will give you an increase in power, but the system istelf is not too noisy.

Silvabullit's system has the CES with a CAI and while you do hear the sound, it by no means is overpowering or loud (except when you hit lift and OMG :D :D :D )

I think the only problem for most guys to get the CES is that they have to drive up here to Brisbane...but you know what that means....

Speaking of driving to QLD, I am interested in this CES system and I live in Syd. i was wondering if anyone else who is interested who lives in Syd wanna cruise up to QLD to get this CES system. we can have a group cruising up there for a meet up with the QLD boys. What u guys think?

If you guys are keen to drive up to get a CES system then we will organise a cruise etc and meet up with the Brissy boys. Also have you thought about the possibility of coming up for the dyno day on the 4th june? Come during the week get your system fitted then stay the weekend for the dyno day/show and shine then perhaps a cruise?

Just some ideas if you're interested. Also if you do drive up CES will do a supply/fit and dyno package for your efforts driving up here.

plus us boys here in Brissie will show you around. (Yes Wei Wei, we'll ask them if they want to do a Nebo run). The only thing I ask is that we don't have to do what we did when Screaminrolla came up here, and have to reverse down the Mt Gravatt Lookout...

As Silvabullit said, our Dyno Day is 4th June and it'd be fantastic to have some 'interstaters' here with us...

What is it Bren, about 4 spots left???

Just found out my older brother just got a job at a Wildlife park on the Gold Coast so will endevour to get up and visit him some time after he moves there next month, but means I have less reason to drive up to Darwin (to visit him) on the open speed limitted highways.

I'll also try and work an exhaust fitting in, but at a later date when the funds are there (but saving like hard still!!)

So yeah I'd be up for a cruize up there at a later date... :D

EDIT: Sorry to whore this topic on this maybe we should start a new thread to discuss the NSW ----> Qld cruise issue...

      Camry 2007 Electrical Question

      Hi all, New member here. Got couple of issue with a 2007 Camry Altise. The clock/Speed alert screen doesn't work on the dash. It turn on/off periodically. Sometimes it will never turn on, sometimes it turns on for few hours. Does anyone know what could be the issue? Second issue is the horn is not working, checked the plugs they're all good. The screen wheel buttons work except horn. Pressing the find the car button the remote makes the horn go off. But I couldn't get the alarm go off (locked the car and opened the door from window). Any ideas where else I could look? Thanks in advance.

      Tried everything won't run right

      Hi all, I have the 1998 toyota spacia/townace van sr40 import, I bought it with high ks as it had service history and seems to run well until, can someone please shed some light on this situation, my van runs fine but sometimes when it wants to when I'm taking off at lights or from a stop from 1st to 2nd gear the van dies losses power it surges and then picks up and takes off again, I have changed spark plugs air filter added injector cleaner and done some checks but I'm not a mechanic, it seems to be something simple maybe I'm hoping, it dosnt do it all the time just when it wants to more when it's warm than cold, I bought a obd reader x3 but none will work to tell me what it is any ideas anyone should I change the plug leads aswell ? thanks all

      Stolen Keys

      Hi Olivia, Sorry to hear about your separation, a real difficult time. Been there, done that. About your keys, I think any Toyota dealer should be able to replace the keys, when you quote the rego number and / or the VIN number. You will need all the proof of ownership and identity you can provide, for them to action it. Be aware that these keys are not cheap $100s. Herb As a further aside, your ex partner, having the keys, will still enable him to "take" the car, should he see it anywhere. Talk to the Toyota dealer about the problem, maybe they can reprogram the immobiliser.

      Stolen Keys

      Hi everyone, this is my first time in the forum, nice to meet you all. I have a 2000 Toyota Celica SX 2D 4 SP Sequential Auto, 4 CYLINDER, 1.8L. Not the best story to break in with but I've just gone through a separation and my ex-partner has taken the keys to my vehicles. I have 2 cars, he has 5. My daily driver is safe for now, but my Celica is completely keyless. It's registered in my name, insured by me, and I have proof of all of this. At the moment it's in hiding at a mates place after being towed from the old property. I've spoken to a couple of locksmiths and they're all convinced it's impossible to replace the keys without replacing the entire immobilizer system. One idea thrown about was the possibility of using some Camry keys/codes to do a shifty and get it moving that way. I was just wondering whether anyone had any wisdom to share about this. Has anyone else had to replace their keys, and what route did you take to do it? Any advice would be much appreciated! -Olivia

      2003 land cruiser troop carrier camping set up

      Gday everyone, I am new to the forum and would like to introduce myself and seek advice on land cruiser troop carrier model 2003 I intend to buy. It has a pop top roof and camping gears in the back (fridge, sink, drawers and so on). 320.000km but in good condition, some minimal rust on passenger door and may only need to replace windscreen. Previous owner had original left rear bench seats removed and welded in a small couch but left seatbelts nuts and bolts in place, as shown on pics. I like the idea to bring passengers if needed and would be looking to re install one bench seat or rear forward facing seats. I understand it will all need to be engineered and road worthy once job completed but am still a bit unsure on how to go about all this. Just wondering if anyone here has had experience with this model and replacing seats in general and can provide advice. Apologies for long message, hope it s not a bad start!! Cheers

      a/c pulley bearing replacement 'in car'

      Hi Everyone, Im new here and a long term very happy owner of a 2009 Prodigy. This year at 165,000 km I replaced the water pump, alternator, spark plugs + coils along with idler pulleys with the usual filters, serpentine belt etc along the way However has anyone replaced the air conditioner pulley bearing with the a/c compressor with hoses connected by removing its bolts and turning it around on its hoses in the car??

      2016 Hilux SR5 Coolant Issues

      Hi, has anyone had any issues with the Coolant being bypassed in their 2016 Hilux please? This apparently had been done on my ute and I wasn't aware of it. My ute heated and one of the hoses blew off. Is this a result of coolant running out quicker than normal or because of the bypass? I've been told that this has been an issue for this model ute.
