Firstly congrats :)

I would do simple things first.

Rims & Rubber, Lowering, Stereo. in no particular order.

With any mods, it depends on your budget and location. You in Sydney? There are heaps of places, but more info is required

Let us know how you go and if your Sydney, i'll take you round to some places to get your gear :)

Welcome!

Your easiest conversion would be the 2ZZ 141kw motor out of the Sportivo, and if you need more shove than this you can turbo, or supercharge it.

Speed costs money - how fast do you want to go? :)

Congrats on the new car - you'll find plenty of good info on here for you.

welcome mate,

why didn't u just buy a rolla sportivo and take it from there? no conversions needed just a great engine :P

then all u need to do is slowly put on mods to suit ur budget B)

to my knowledge, if you want to have an engine conversion you can only convert to a newer model engine. i.e. in your case the engine must be 2002 and up.

Please correct me if im wrong.

why didnt you buy just a celica or a sportivo? as it sounds like u have no clue how to mod corollas or where to start? ;)

I dun think so... Anyways if u could fit the 2zz engine into the e11 chassis U would have alot of head****s. I wouldn't convert it IMO. Just do external mods and some upgrades for the engine Depending how far n how much u wanna spend ;)

This is unusual for me, but I agree with Modena, look at poor evo7, all that work and still behind a stock sportivo in performance. not saying it doens't look good evan, but still slow

Sure you could do a old celica engine, just like Fensport:

Oh, btw its really freaking expensive and has heaps of custom work.

2ZZ or new car if you want another engine, unless you have gold bricks lying around  .

omg :o 600+ bhp!!!

  • 7 months later...

coming from a guy who is 30 and drives an auris

If that was meant to be an insult to Modena, then that was just stupid, especially considering this thread is nearly 8 months old.
