i believe it is:

1)new bumper

2)new rear lamp for sedans

3)new wheels

4)slight interior upgrade

5)possible headlamp change

unless of course they decide to import the Altis corolla...

i think the altis corolla is ugly! i hope they don't bring it in. it would be good if they used the headlights that the europeans have.

Hey shaohaok,

Can I enquire what wheels are those on your car? Where did you get them and how much do they cost? They look really fierce...would love to get them for my white Stivo. I reckon that they'll look great on a white car.

is this the corolla 04?

this car has the trd sports m body kit but not the style i have seen for corolla 03 so i guess this is corolla 04 with trd sports m body kit 04.

thinking about it more (all current models) front reminds me of civic, side golf, tail mini (you cannot see in this picture).

Dudes. I'm pretty sure that's a Honday badge on the front of that car man. no way toyota would style their 04 corolla that way (hope not :P ). there is no styling cues from any of the current models in the Toyota line-up. The Echo is like a cute little corolla...etc

I think it's the Toyota badge that we see on the MR2 Spyder. It definitely isn't the Honda badge.

I think that if that is the new corolla the value of ours will increase because it's not the best looking car out now is it. Atleast our car looks good.

In saying that theyll probably bring out a new sportivo that will put ours to shame (performance wise) :(

Don't say that, Nikick! :( alot of us just got the car. I'm just starting to get used to pple admiring my car for once instead of just looking at others in envy :D

that isn't a corolla, its called an IST, dunno what that stands for. its actually a bit like a hyundai getz.

let's say that the facelifted version looks a bit like the european corollas. and the rear lights are different, too.

If it is from Toyota, i would say it would be the new Echo. It looks a little small to be a Corolla. But it also resemble a Getz! No way a Honda, not slick enough after the recent release of the Accord Euro.

It is not new corolla! It's just toyota model named "ist". I think it is maid only for Japan market and its not even very new model.

Apparently rummers are a new version will come out in 2005 but will be a "World" Corolla so every one including the States will get the same car. Which will be good for parts and mods. The high perfomance version will be released after. Also a new version of a "World" Camry will be released as well.

Spot on Peekay, drawings have been released for the 2006 Camry & quotation/sourcing has begun amongst local suppliers.

My Dealer today says that the facelift is pushed back to June/July, but in the interim to clear stocks of the current model, they're pushing a factory sports option called TSE ( or something, sorry guys I saw it but I cant remember exactly).

It's the base Ascent mostly specced up to Conquest level (colour coding, mags, spoiler, and VERY cool TSE ??? badges) for only $1000.00 extra over base Ascent cost.

On that basis looks like the facelift could be more than just badges and trim...?????
