now that is an interesting development... very interesting indeed... I may have to rethink my track rims now :D

yeah i thought that might throw a spanner in the works for some.

16s look gay at the tracks lol if u look at the sizes for the range, in comparison to the rt215, they are geared more for the drifters.

but yeah, check to see if the falken distri in aus brings that size in. otherwise PM me if u need help.

02G's don't come in the right size, you need to get DJ01's and foe $360 a tyre... no thanks... I don't care how good they are, I'm going out there for fun, not to race seriously...

Yokohama A.Drive R1 215/40/R17

Went Shao / Northy style and stuck to Yoko's.

These are on the P1's now. Unreal tyre, very very responsive and sticky now.

Nah happy with these ay. Always been loyal to Yokohama.

I did have falkens on it before though. Understeer ftw lol

Northy has been running on Fulda's for about year or more. Heaps cheaper and pretty much a comparable tyre. depends on how much you want to spend. Fulda's seem to last a lil longer on North's car too...

Putting on 215/40/17 Bridgestone Adrenalin Potenza RE001 tomorrow :D

How did they go?

They are absolutely brilliant. Just couldn't stop driving yesterday, and wanted to hammer each corner I come up to :D

Coming from the worn Fuldas to band new Adrenalins was a huge contrast so I'm not going to compare them side-by-side.

Theres a few more things i want to try like stability in high speed lane change, some track work next month, and some other stuff they show on the website (click on performance) :yahoo:

Initial impressions are very grippy, stable and not much noise (in dry so far). The ride is a bit harder than Fuldas, not sure if thats the case in other sizes.

How do they handle in the wet? Have you pushed them yet?

The reply a month later -_- soz

We had a lot of rain here in the past month, and these do work very well in the wet.

In a straight line high speed, it cuts through quite easily and no aquaplaning.

Although I very rarely corner as hard in the wet as I would in the dry, I haven't had any slip'n'slides with "spirited" cornering (not pushed).

As with any tire they will spin if you plant your foot down when exiting a wet corner :D

We got ALOT of rain tonight and I was able to further test the RE001 :P

On a bend that I could "very comfortably" go 110+ in the dry, I will start to slide a little when going above 90 in very wet conditions... hope this helps :P

Although I don't intend to go that hard on any corners, I'm glad for that information.

Throughly appreciated.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
