Greetings. Picking up my first Aurion tomorrow after years of Jap ownership including a Micra, Corolla, Spacewagon, Pajero, Lancer and now the Aurion. Had a look around at Falcons, Commodores, 380s, and the Aurion was top of the bill for looks, safety, power, price and fuel economy.

It's a Wildfire Red stock model AT-X, ex-fleet and just out of warranty. Extending the warranty to 160,000km. Looking forward to a few years of v6 motoring in Melbourne.

Correction, picking up first Aurion on Saturday instead. Waiting around for banks and dealerships to communicate correctly.

Still excited though. Thanks for the welcome :)

Into my third week with the Aurion, loving every minute of it. Already clocked up a thousand kms commuting into the city and touring around the Mornington Peninsula. Really smooth in traffic and goes like stink when you need it to. Love the 6-speed box, there's a gear for every occasion. Already looking at mags, foglights and some other accessories.

thanks, it's definitely a cruiser, very smooth on the highway, plenty of power when needed.

i'll be doing about 500km a week commuting, probably 30,000km a year overall including road trips and weekend travel. fuel consumption is pretty low so far, getting 600-650km per tank, somewhere around 11l/100km.
