Sand Blast Protection

Recommended Posts

The Australian forums here isn't quite the market for such a product. We have things like car bra's which are suited more just for limited coverage on the front end of the car and high impact areas. There is a special film which can also be applied instead.

Sounds to me like you need something like the following, but with more film cut to cover a greater area of your car:

I'm going to assume that cars aren't uncommon in Saudi Arabia, and therefore you probably know other people who have them. My suggestion is to talk to them, see what they do to protect theres. Maybe find your nearest auto accessories shop or bodyshop and have a talk to them.

Well the locals have weird ways of protection

1) Handmade Car Bras (Which always end up loosening up the bumper clips)

2) Scrubbing Dish washing detergent (Innovative Camel Jockeys arent they :-) )

3) Using a mixture of grease and Clay (Word on the street advises against it).

4) High end consumers use 3M Protective Sheets (which are applied partially to the Hood and not to the Chrome grill or head lamps)

The main reason why I'm posting my question on the Aussie forums is because of the climatic similarities. I hope you understand the reasons behind my curiosity.

I'm basically not satisfied with what's on offer. Simple

Thanks & Regards
