There was much rejoicing to be seen at our place last week. This gives me some more focus to get something done on the beloved Celica.

I ordered these online which seemed at the time to be the cheapest option. But once The Australian Customs Service discovered my secret they swooped on my consignment and added around $600.00 in inspection fees import duties and other taxes. In the end I only saved about $350.00 for all the hassle I went through but now that they are here I really am looking forward to getting the old beast going again.

Attached is a pic of what all the excitement is about.

Sorry Guys and Gals these will definately NOT be for sale.

The light at the end of the tunnel just might not be that other train coming

WOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO

Hey thanks guys. The wheel thing is definately one for personal taste. I have had some very negative feedback from mates who have seen them first hand but I cant wait for the project to be done. The Celica goes in fairly soon for the panel & paint job. There will be a long road ahead but I have authorisation from the minister for war and finance to get it on the road. I plan to do it in a mid-dark metallic blue somewhat like the 2011 Corolla. Attached is a pic of a TA22 with the same wheels which is painted in a blue a shade lighter than I am looking for..

I think it looks pretty spectacular...

The poor thing has been stuck at the side of my house waiting till we sell our HQ tonner. I have a guy I used to work with who wants it but he needs to sell one of his too. And so the story goes.

This pic is TRUE eye Candy
