Well it’s time to Mega Cruise...

This is a cruise for all Toyota's. Now in its 6th year Mega Cruise is a great day out.

So bring out your Toyota whatever it is and come along.

Toymods Annual Palm Beach run.

Details are as follows.

Sunday the 27th of November

Time: 10:00 for a 10:30 leave

Place: Wilson Park Silverwater, Cnr Clyde Street and Silverwater road Silverwater (see map below)

Destination: Palm Beach via the city.

What to Bring: Some $$$ for the BBQ and maybe a fold up chair to sit on

Once again it’s time for Toymods annual run to Palm Beach, We leave Homebush, head along Victoria Road towards the city. We cross ANZAC bridge around the city and cross the Harbor Bridge. From there we head down towards the Spit and on to Manly for our first meet up at North Head. After filling the carpark at North Head we'll head north and onto Warringah road, Forrest Way, Mona Vale road for another meet up. After we pick up the cars we have lost its down Mccarrs Creek Road to Palm Beach.

Well over the last few years people have gotten a little lost, I will be giving out some maps with photos of intersections this year and here are some maps for people to look at now to print etc.

First of all the meeting spot this is Carpark at Wilsons Park access at Clyde Street and Silverwater road intersection.

i'd be against Palm Beach...if we go on a warm weekend day, the parking is extremely limited, also the stretch of twisties isnt really long or remote enough to be fun especially when theres a bus infront of you.

Toymods annual Megacruise is to Palm Beach on the 27th as well. We don't go all the way down to Palm Beach anymore, a couple of years ago we over-flowed the carpark big time and decided to backtrack to the footy fields and tennis courts at Hitchcock Pk in Whale Beach, plenty of room for cars there and a BBQ. And McCarrs Creek Road is plenty of fun if you're in a pack and can space the cars out enough, that way you don't have to worry too much about traffic. Any twisties are good twisties, and if I'm not satisfied then I just take the Old Pac home :P

mccarrs is fun but pretty rough lol. oh well palmy would be like 40min drive from my house. im probably closest

I suggest the SYD TOCAU guys got to this. I won't be in SYD....but I did got to one before and it was a great day.

Just remember, your representing TOCAU.....no stupid stuff

Does anyone have a TOCAU banner? We could park together and have the banner up for show.

I think one of the other mods has it....might have to track it done. Would be good for any TOCAU meet that is organised.

may aswell just attend toymods mega cruise, unless for those people who are cheap and cant allocate 100kms worth of petrol for an awesome event then they can organise a EOMM?

400km for some of us :P. Got my work Xmas dinner the night before and a farewell so might be a bit seedy but will aim to be there as usual

      Advice needed

      Hi All, im dave from carrum downs. A mate who is a mechanic and I, who isnt a mechanic and with basic car knowledge. We installed a turbo into my 2.7ltr 2003 Toyota hilux 3RZN154R engine, ever since we got it going its been miss firing, back firing, running lean to sparkplug loaded with carbon. Everything but running right. Can anyone please help. My mate has told me the engine has changed the firing order to the downstroke would it change the engines firing order to its exhaust downstroke. I don't understand if or how this could be possible. We have tried everything almost. From fuel pressure regulators to about to install a distributor. To buying and about to install haltech 750. Im in need of some good advice to understand where we have gone wrong. It would be greatly appreciated. ✌️ Daveo

      Android auto

      I have the Cruiser Hybrid 2024 and can confirm that AA wireless is not working, still needs the cable. I'm a bit disappointed because my phone won't fit anymore in the wireless charger tray.

      Hi!

      Hi to all! Derek here, recently got our RAV4 Cruiser Hybrid 2024 from almost 2 years of wait. Before that we have and still keeping our trusty 2008 Corolla.       Timing issue, 1994 st204 celica

      I’ve got a 1994 st204 celica with a 5sfe motor, it runs perfectly for 15-20 until it warms up then it starts misfiring and stops. Then when the engine cools down it will start and run perfectly until it warms up again. I have replaced the igniter, internal distributor coil, distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs, spark plug leads. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

      I think this is normal, auto choke engaged when starting and comes off after the engine warms up. Giving gas resets the choke. Herb

      Hilux Workmate 2x4 bulbar installation...

      I've got a few questions regarding the installation of a bull bar on my 2006 Toyota workmate Hilux 2x4. First off, the bulbar I am looking at will weigh around 30kg and I was wondering if would need to try and get some heavier duty shock absorbers and springs to compensate for the extra weight. Keep in mind that this little 2x4 gets a run for its money and is put mainly through the scrub, basic 4wd tracks, and corrugation. Secondly, The bull bar I have purchased is for a KUN 2005-2012 Hilux body shape, which from brief research will fit. A bit of confirmation would be lovely in terms of will it actually fit properly. Any help and or insight would be lovely.

      Car Service and Car Tune Up?

      Check the spark plugs. Also consider cleaning the throttle body and idle air control [IAC] valve. Search YouTube for the relevant videos for your vehicle on how to do this.
