found a new aftermarket oil pump for 2zz

hi guys i have already posted this on the forum in another section but incase some people missed it , i was looking for another aftermarket oil pump for my friends 2zz as the circuit works oil pump are no longer being sold and monkey wrench dont currently have one for the 2zz but apparently they should have one soon. anyway i found an after-market oil pump gear from a company called sector hears the link :)

There out of stock ahh dammnn :( we need a good oil pump. Is there not a toda oil pump ? Dunno if there decent tho ? :( .. yeah i have now seen a few people say this about monkey wrench :(

Why upgrade the oil pump? Don't we only do that if we're upping the rpm past 8.2k?

even with the stock rpm redline there have been a few failures ....... its just one of those things where for a few hundered bucks u buy urself some insurance ......

Extra insurance, on top of the full comprehensive I already have? Hahaha

Joking yeh I get ya, I'm not much in lift these days

Not much driving too only weekends

But interesting thread !

yeah as said its good insurance thing for your engine iv spent £10,000 pounds on my engine alone so its nice to back that up by a decent oil pump il bee keeping the stock rev limiter i think see how it goes on the dyno:)

Improved 2ZZ oil pump

Lotus specialist SSC Australia has developed an improved oil gerotor pump gear set for the 2ZZ. Machined from 4340 alloy steel.

So just thought I would ask here and save starting a new thread. Has anyone bought an aftermarket pump? I'm looking at a few and I'm weighing up getting one in from either monkeywrench or nengun or going the local route with the one from lotus. Just wondering if anyone had any experiences they could share
