I'd have to say tho, that body kit on it is something horrid..

There's nothing wrong with the stock body and lowering it... looks just as good...

with that said, I'm quite surprised to see a Stivo on Touge Challenge.. I don't think the car really belongs there to be honest..

Question tho, would you classify ZZE's as JDM?

Considering the Chassis are built in South Africa and the 2ZZ built in Japan??

That'd be like calling a Lotus Elise, JDM?

Not hating here, just a query... please don't flame me

*flamethrower*

lotus wouldn't be classified as JDM as its an english brand.

even though the stivo was built in SA, it can still be classified as JDM as it follows the same chassis as the japanese models. doens't mean having the same engine means its JDM.

but who classifies these as JDM anyways? i think its more of a subjective thing. u can get a falcadore and say its JDM after putting rays volks te37s on them. but then u would get kicked in the head by me and possibly stabbed too

who cares about JDM or not... Corolla is a good car and "deceptive".

Sorry to show off, but I have given many WTF to people on the track

I have watched that video before as well... However, Honda's EG is crazy

it's third, but it's nearly a second behind, it's also only 1/10 of a second faster than a cappuccino which has the engine the size of your washer bottle!

But dont forget the power to weight ratio of the cappucino... According to the videos this one had 140ps / 780kg where as the Corolla had 190ps / 1180kg!

Thats only 50ps and then theres a massive 400kg difference... May I add that thanks to the capps turbo its power to capacity ratio is higher than anything else there! TBH Im actually surprised the capp isnt a bit quicker through that track

Also anyone else notice the spring rates on the civic? F18kg R15kg is friggin nuts and then the guy says "oh ive lowered the spring rates for these tyres and the bumpy track..." Dafuq?

Ben, I know that feeling all too well :D

After speaking with some Honda racers/trackers, they tell me the higher springs rates are because they can get away with it using proper doiuble wishbone suspension design. The mcpherson strut setup needs lower spring rates in comparison. But that said, 18kg/mm spring rates are still high!

140ps is very very generous for a cappuccino.... i don't think the capp would have that much power
