Does anyone know of any leather reclining bucket seats?

Sorry that was a pretty amateur question of mine. I was wondering if anyone had any websites or stores that sell for relatively cheaper.

When installing new seats is there a seat belt pretensioner on the "female" part of the seatbelt? or can the seatbelt part simply be transferred to new seat and rails? I tried having a look but i couldnt see any and didnt really want to take the seats out just to check.

You'll remove the buckle from the old seat and bolt it to the rail of the new seat. The belt itself is attached to the b-pillar.

Thanks SuperDave, Just checking because with my last car it had an explosive pretensioner on it and it was a b**** to change over without killing somone.

Pretensioner (if fitted) will be in the belt reel behind the B-pillar as Dave said, not the buckle. The only thing that is normally in the buckle is the sensor for the seat-belt warning light.

Just be aware that in QLD you'll need an Engineer to sign off on the seat modification AND the seat belt modification.

Thanks guys,

I know about the pretensioner in the b pillar just wasnt sure if there was an explosive pretensioner on the buckle side for when in an accident and it sets off along with the airbags to tighten the seat beat as much as it can to hold you in better. I'm glad it doesnt though.

Can you recommend anyone in Brisbane?

Also found out that no Bride seats are ADR approved so even with a mod plate doesnt that technically still make them illegal?
