Hi, I am new to the forum and I just bought an used aurion today!

it is a 2008 prodigy and I have trouble using the CD player!

I pressed the "load" button and the word "WAIT" comes out from the screen but then it doesn't have the "load" word come out. I tried to put a CD in but it doesn't suck the disc into the player...

did i do anythings wrong? or, is the CD player simply is not working?

thanks

not sure if you can separate the aircon/CD stacker, but the Prodigy will have digital climate control so if you can't seperate it then that won't work. And also that one is not a CD stacker, its only a CD player.

Nmocha, if you bought the car from a dealership, take it back to them and get them to look at it. You will still be covered by the statutory warranty. Otherwise, if you bought the car privately it might still be worth taking to the local toyota dealership to look at. At least they will tell you if it's a simple fix or if it's stuffed.

I had a problem with mine where the loading lights went from green to orange and wouldn't load or eject so I disconnected the battery for a hour she reset and all was fine

I bought the car privately :(

an update for this case, I restarted the car this morning and the CD player actually "load" the CD!!!

However, it shows "Error 3" message after sucking the CD and won't play anythings...

I tried 3 CDs (2 originals and 1 burnt) and all come up with the same result, any clue?

it is now able to eject and load cds though

If your feeling adventurous it might be worth unplugging the CD player all together from the car so it resets all the defaults etc, and then plugging it back in to see what happens.

It's probably busted. I had to replace 3 of these lousy 6cd units during warranty.

1st one - Similar error code on screen

2nd and 3rd - white led backlight intermittent fault

You're better off replacing with a non Toyota GPS unit.
