My son owns a property in outback NSW and to access there is 7 k"s of graded dirt road.  I would like to show them the new 86. any advice would be helpful. Thankyou

Been a long time since driving on a dirt road. Got younger day memories of hitting the brakes and fortunately sliding my Honda Civic around a cow lying down in the middle of the road. Take your time and slow down.

If there are ruts in the road, I drove so the wheels are either side so there is a smoother ride.

If you come to any cattle grids, slow down lots, especially if there is a bend shortly after.

My car never leaves the tarmac, your car won't be new for long if you go there, I would advise meeting him elsewhere :|

Stone chips are expensive to repair , so i bought an old zooki to use where the bitumen is not.
