Hey guys, I thought I'd have a little fun with this and dedicate a thread to those wonderful wet things that form on your paint after it has been sealed with the sealant/ polish of choice.

Feel free to upload your bead pics and make mention of what product you used.

I have in the past posted random pics but on this occasion I'd like to offer up the beading on my Aurion courtesy of Turtle Wax Flex Wax. After a night of rain, I opened the front blind of my lounge to see the sun shining and my Aurion covered in beautiful water beads. I got a little excited and couldn't resist taking a few shots of this to share with the rest of you detail lovers.

I applied this product around three weeks ago after a decent wash and decon. No polish stages. It hasn't been washed since and this is the current result. The beauty of Flex Wax is that you can apply it on everything from glass to plastics. I avoided doing the glass as I use the Rain-X product for this. It served very well on the plastics rejuvenating the wiper scuttle panel in the process putting a nice seal over this too. I think it is a waste to use on glass to be honest. Keep it for the paint and the plastics.

Note the micro beading from the morning due !!

I had this thread in mind when last weekend I gave my Aurion a complete all over treatment using P&S Beadmaker. All the glass and the paintwork got a spray of the P&S Beadmaker. Weather forecast for Brisbane was also showing rain expected today. It did rain overnight and I did take some photos this morning. They are very similar to the photos already posted. Only difference that I thought was that the water beads may not have been as large but that could very well be more to the different cameras being used as well as the skill of the photographer. I am still a learner. 😄

I am more looking forward to a rain shower while driving to see how well the water beads and flies off the windscreen. I have given the Rain-X a miss in favour of the P&S Beadmaker.

I am very pleased with P&S Beadmaker being easy to apply after doing the preparation work. Most likely using more product than an experienced detailer. Just ordered a resupply of P&S Beadmaker.

Waiting for the Turtle Wax Flex Wax to come down in price before giving it a go.

After some light rain overnight, I took a few photos this morning which I thought were worth posting. First photo shows where the water has beaded and rolled off the front windscreen but not the front bonnet. 2nd photo shows the various sizes of the water beads on the bonnet before possible joining and rolling offIMG_0060.thumb.JPG.dc53cd871524a430b4d1f10a6330c5c6.JPGIMG_0064.thumb.JPG.8f80c98dd8dfd6f3f3a2bcd4516baa21.JPG.

Bead Maker does make awesome beads. It's a good sealant and great value for money. You just need to maintain the coating for it to stay effective. I'd do it once a month or after every wash. It's cheap enough, especially if you get the gallon container.

Thanks for the pics Ash.

Oh stop teasing me with your porn beads of pure joy Ash LOL, I am sure if it had been bigger winds with the rain they would have rolled away beautifully but a run around the block would shift them for sure, well done mate great Pics

LOL those beads on mine will have to wait till the cyclonic winds we have had here go away, hopefully tomorrow as my wife and I finally get to have anniversary date. Today was bloody horrible and mini cyclonic winds came out of nowhere for a few hours.

Now if I had bead porn on the car and watch those sexy beads of water fly away LOL
