I have some great Alpine 6x9's that I bought new in the US, but I can't decide where best to mount them....

on most cars i would say that the rear parcel shelf would be great but the corolla's parcel shelf is like half a parcel shelf :(

and because of the fabric component, there isn't a completely sealed compartment and u may not be getting all the sound u should be getting, if u get what i mean, unless u get a box to attach to the solid bits beneath to seal up the speakers. however, i dunno if the whole thing is strong enough to hold the 6x9 and such a setup? :s

Forget about it. And i find that the rear doors panel is not very well sealed. I get vibrations due to my rear speakers, and its running from Head unit. The front is powered with 200W each speaker, and boy it sounded like crystal clear no vibrations what so ever.

Ooops, back to topic. Yeah man, forget about it. Use your door speaker.

Custom install in the doors, if u are serious and they sound that great, then a custom install is the way to go
