Hi.

I don't know what this looks like as I haven't seen it yet. I have had my electronic key batteries replaced before they got really flat. I just want to know what the alert in the dashboard looks like so I know what to look out for. If anybody has a picture or can point to a web page that shows this I'd be interested to see it.

Thanks.

It's nothing technical or fancy. You'll see a message pop up in the central part of the display with words like "Key Battery Low". This is the message I've seen in my Aurion some time back but never thought to get a photo of it. Camry will be very similar I presume.

I had a quick look online, but nothing popped up.

The battery is also very simple to replace. It contains only one. You should keep a small stash of CR2032 in your drawer and when you see the message pop up next time, you can swap it out yourself. You'll even have an opportunity to capture the message and repost it back here.

I have the routine of every 2 years I just replace the battery, and yes keep a stash of the CR2032 in the draw for that very reason plus handy for quite a lot of other gadgets that take them as well. I hid a few as my wifes kitchen scales tend to burn through them fast so she tended to pinch mine 😄🙄
