I didn't post this in the Canberra Monthly Meet section 'cos no one's posted there since like, the late 70's... or so it seems.

Its amazing how fast your car accelerates and how light the steering is after an 1hr of go karting :D

i went there about a month ago for a corporate day and did the enduro race. Heaps of fun.

They had some 11hp karts that could go up to 80km or so in the shed (still building / tweaking), hopefully they are ready now...

I'm not going anywhere near Hume Karts. Alicia's 'abusive' ex bf works there. If I went there I'd probably get into a go kart, chok a brick underneath the accelerator and aim it at him.

last time i went go karting was at this place....it was raining and i was spinning at every corner...

but i have a thing with go karts...after a while i get sick....i think its from all the fumes....

Well, I dumped Alicia. She stills means a lot to me though. He's a girl bashing homoerectus butt munch, I think I'd still want to beat the bejesus out of him.

NATEX is now EPIC (Canberra Show grounds), Karts have not been there for many years now. Think it is almost 12 or 13 years since they closed, only 2 left in Canberra now 1 at Fyshwick and 1 at Hume.
