Dunno if anyone has bought up this b4..

I just checked out the 350Z fourm and saw a pretty good idea in their buy/sell section which lists people & vendors with members experiences with them. If our members want to feel safer either buying or selling.. i think this will be quite helpful.

The good thing bout this is that we can also list good/bad buyers (payment wise)

And for sellers, someone can start a thred with the sellers name as the topic title and ppl can add their comments

Then ppl that wants to buy/sell can just look up the list ;)

Wot do ppl think?

Thats why i've listed traders whom i trust in my signature :D

We do need some kind of feedback system, but how would like eBay's be implemented on here?

Wouldnt it require some coding of the forum to make it work?

What about a pinned thread which says whos states the traders name and then a :D or  next to it? Everything theres a good trade they get a :D, everytime theres a bad trade they get  People can then just count the amount of icons next to the name and determine if they are a good trader or bad trader.

eg

if DHC09 has had 10 good trades + 1 bad trade

Then it would state

DHC09 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

DHC09

If Azza has had 0 bad trades and 5 good trades

It would state

Azza :D :D :D :D :D

Azza No bad trades

Everytime a transaction goes thru, we PM a mod who then goes and edit the thread with the updates.

I will keep my eye open for modifications that provide this.

Ratings system is the way to go ;) I like your idea Nek, lets see if we can find any ratings mod for the forum first.

I'll keep my eye out too.

ozhonda has something called i-Trader its pretty much the same as ebay - u leave feedback after something is sold/ bought

eBay systems are too "tit for tat" for my liking.

If a seller screws you over, you leave negative feedback.

The seller than says you're an idiot, that refunds were offered, emails were sent, and more bullcrap.

Just goes back and forth.

I wonder if there is away that as soon as someone has had a few good resulting trades, both selling and buying, that by notifying a mod they can have a little icon listed under their avatar, like a 'Trusted Trader' or something.

neK's idea is a good one too.....

Just found this mod. Might be able to put this in place.

Nice find.

These boards are version 2.1.6. I don't think that hack would be compatible :(
