i want to paint the calipers and possible the hubs (if thats what they are called) what i want to know it how much paint am i going to need? its just that i live kinda in rural NSW so the nearest auto shop is bout 40mins drive so i dont want to have to go back to get more.

they painted the entire disc? i was talking about the bit in the middle where the bolts are attached

WTF?!? :lol: they painted the whole assembly. i would hate to be driving infront of him and suddenly stop. :P

oh well, looks like the first 2 pics have been removed.

the guy who has that golf with the steel wheels and hubcaps painted his PADS and ROTORS silver. actually took it all apart to paint them...

I painted my hubs, had to mask the entire rotor surface - but it turned out nicely. You can see it in the pics I posted in that previous thread.

It took one can of VHT caliper paint to do the front, with plenty of coats. It might take two to do both front and back.
