Hi fellows,

Any good recommendations on brake pad for sportivo? I used EBC Green Stuff for my skyline before and tracking racing. It really gives me good performance and minimal brake dust. I heard that Green Stuff doesn't have for Sportivo, is it true?

I am looking for something from 0 to 600 C brake pads. These days, the original brake pad is really worrying me and don't really trust it.

Thanks!!!!

Might also be worth looking into Ferodo DS 2500 pads too. Slighty higher rated then the ECB and loss 'spongy', but still comfortable for the street too.

my money is on the ds2500 ;) ;) ;)

oh and get ur rotors upgraded as well if the budget is willing ;) celica 4000 series DBA's redrilled for a 4 stud pattern will do the trick ;)

do you have the part number for celica 4000 series DBA slotted rotor? would it fit the zze122 ascent? what is the biggest size slotted or drilled rotor will fit zze122 with factory caliper? if you can, please list the parts number, brand and spec. i am using EBC green stuff and they are great. you won't regret it.

Also roesch makes carbon fiber pads for corolla.

ROESCH LINK

if you search on catalogue you'll find the pads!

if you want reduced brake dust carbon fibre is not an option. It's also very slippery (in the cold) and quite quite dangerous on the street.

i might take my sportivo down to a track day that's why need to upgrade my braking system before going.

Thanks for that.

a member of toyota club italia has installed the roesch pads on his corolla TS and he's satisfied about them.

he has a powerfull braking.

why do you say that are quite dangerous?

Carbon Fibre brake pads do not work properly until heated up, that's why they are dangerous. If you drive your car hard all the time, fine, but for everyday driving they are not suitable.
