Hello members,

I'm just shopping around for a cheaper insurance premium, just wondering if people could give me the amounts they're paying for premiums. I have a 2003 Corolla which is stock and looking at getting a sound system (which I've been informed wont be an issue as long as it is reported) and a HID kit installed.

i dont think an insurance company would support a HID install?? unless you have projectors or whatnot

i think wif HIDs you have to have a washer to be legal

I paid 1100 for mine, with Just-Car. Rating 3.

I'm paying $764 (or $68.66 per month) with AAMI rating 1 with a sports muffler and short ram intake (which I just took off). :(

And I have a 2003 Conquest Hatch.

Budget Direct wont insure my car cause of the SRI with the sports muffler.

GIO was $862.86 (without mods) before I changed.

RACV quoted me $973.89 (without mods).

Just Cars quoted me $728 with my mods but has no monthly repayments.

theres a company in brisbane that iv heard thats dirt cheap and they have representatives down here in melbourne.

I heard they wipe off 200 bux from aami's quotes im not sure who they are, just heard it at a conversation over dinner with some relatives.

one of my relatives has the lexus rs 4x4 or whatever and he went overseas, some punks got in and destroyed the interior worked out to be something like 9000 bux worth of damage for like 800 bux worth of full compo insurance.

the cars valued at like 80grand or something

I know the rex boys cut off like $400-$600 off their insurance with these guys. $800 full comp for an 02-05 (25-30yr old) rex is pretty darn good.

No idea about the rollas though.
