1 x JDM Autobac/Carmate Number Plate Bracket (Made in Japan/Discontinued Item)

Purpose: Nothing lol, JDM points perhaps? Tilts...

Tilts....to create less frontal impact on wind, reduces drag coefficient, pushes air into the radiator to assist cooling, and all this leads to two things:

1. Lower fuel consumption........from 7.5L/100km to 7.49L/100km

2. Enhance vehicle performance from 100kW to 100.001kW

Haha, awesome. +1 JDM browny points for you!

It's screaming defect me! LOL

Posted (edited)

lol I don't drive around with it tilted down that far. Only slightly.

Influence was drawn from one of the ZREs in the ZRE HOT HATCH POTENTIAL Thread.

Hah, it tilts down further right? I think it can tilt down to the point where the plate is almost facing the ground.

Nothing new. Wish I had the money to get some things. Would love a new set of wheels

Posted

Very stiff and even less body roll than before.

Only downside is that certain Sydney roads are now extremely uncomfortable to drive on. That's what you get for putting coilovers in <_<

Should be due for a wheel alignment soon.

What's happenin' here?

Handling is superb!

Well didn't see this coming, any info on them? specs, price, brand etc ?

Exactly the same as JE-55-EA's except mines the NF model. Only difference is the spring rate. Wasn't going to post it until after the Annual but I won't be attending so why not now

Sick as Kevin! Mine's waiting to be installed!!! :spiteful:

What's the difference between GF and NF spring rates?

Peter.

Posted (edited)

The GF has stiffer spring rates compared to the NF (in the ZRE case, just stiffer up front):

Sustec Pro GF (GGZE151HK):

[F] - -14~-52mm, 5kg

[R] - -14~-63mm, 4kg

Sustec Pro NF (NNZE151HK):

[F] - -17~-55mm, 4kg

[R] - -14~-63mm, 4kg

Tanabe label their suspension products like so (softest to stiffest):

NF - "Normal Feeling" - Mild drop/Soft/Street

DF - "Dress-up Form" - Max dumpage/Soft/Street

GF - "Grip Feeling" - Mild drop/Medium-hard/Street-Sports

@Kevin, yeah man for sure.
