hey everyone just found this video of a corolla xrs

and has any1 seen or knows where to get a dash like this one :o

i think its so cool the colours hange when in lift

that is awesome :D that is exactly what i want :D

even if i could get the numbers to be white and the rest red. i dont like the full red look

changing colours... that would just be :wub:

Can you do it so it changes again at 8000 just before the limitter? Would make an awesome shiftlight

a little scary taking your instrument cluster out and pulling it apart tho id die if i busted it and had to fork out for a new one.

I've got a spare 1zz cluster for sale if ppl want to experiment, it works perfectly fine tho and is already modded to blue back light.

Colours should be reversed, start off blue then turn red in lift.

OK i'm in too...how can this be done?

Here's how i'd want it.

White numbers all the time with green lines (to match climate control) then change to red when in lift!

So how do we go about this?

Yes and no...

from what I can tell, it uses the cam switch signal from the ECU to do this.

You would still require a new relay to be installed to make a shift light that will function at any other time then the cam switch point.
