  1. Hyundai Genesis Coupe Drift-spec anyone?
  2. I've accepted the power level our ZREs put out Ben. I'm not fussed, just deal with what we've got and move on, we just gotta focus on other areas like suspension and brakes, tyres and at the end of the day; driver skill. Dont worry.. i aim to catch them stivos on track at winton in future. *awaits mass hate from stivo owners* hehe
  3. Powercoating is ftw. Though yes, it does fade over time. Such is life. Then.. round 2 powerdercoating.. different colour?
  4. 4.3K for best visibility, 6K for more brighter white/slight blue hue, 8K more aqua/blue hue but visibility starting to go down the drain

  8. @ Huey: I run king wheels KG-5 17x7 which are now powdercoated orange. They've lasted me almost 3years now, and i even track on them. I thought about getting those rims you've mentioned too, but i've decided next set will be Jap spec rims.. JDM or nothing. Where can i get sponsorship? I'd like a sponsored TRD turbo kit from the GT Auris :P

  11. zedare: zed-ar-e = ZRE :P
  12. Something new just arrived today.. secret mods part no.1

  13. The stop and starting certainly doesnt help, constantly using your throttle will burn a lot more fuel as compared to highway driving. Do trip that is mainly highway driving and see what you get, you'd be surprised. I'd keep using 98 octane premium fuel as it will help clean and protect your engine while giving the most power output. Like previously said, do your regular maintenance checks, air filter/oil/oil filter. All the little things do count in the end. And also if you have a heavy right foot
  14. Its all happening now Dez! so errr.... 1.52 eh?
  15. What?? Where has this ZRE been all this time?? lol Gotta see it in the flesh.
  16. Me likey very much :D
  17. Spotted a White ZZT231 Celica with full kit, TRD rims and black headlights on La Trobe St outside of C4 and KBOX with plates from QLD. Anyone from here? Nice celica btw
  18. Just randomly looking through my PC and thought i'd share something with you guys. My first ride: Toyota Celica SX 1993 Liftback Coupe. Purchased after i turned 18 and got my licence. Came complete 175,000kms with very slight oil leak 2.5inch XForce catback exhaust system sports pedals Stock 3-point front strut brace My mods: Bridgestone Potenza GIIIs 205/50/R15 tyres all round Momo shift knob New battery Replacement rear right shock absorber Replacement Phillips Crystal vision bulbs Pioneer MP3 player x2 4inch JBL front speakers x2 6inch JBL rear seat speakers x2 6x9inch JBL rear speakers (custom install) 12" JBL subwoofer Pioneer 6Channel amplifier (sound system was pumping 1000Watts RMS) Viper alarm system with remote/central locking It was the best thing ever in the day. And being young, i loved the drone of my exhaust. :P It was the start of my Toyota love. :D Wash weekly and driven hard. Now it has moved on to my dad who has kept it in fine form with deterioating and peeling paintwork, an MP3 player that wont eject CDs, only front speakers and sub work, worn clutch, worn tyres and running with less than 20psi of air in it. Maybe when dad moves on, i'll keep it and revive it.......... into a track weapon. hehehe Only thing i didnt like was the celicas turning circle/radius. Other than that i loved every bit of the car. Just a little something something i wanted to share. :) Well it was either this or an SR20 S13 Silvia.... :o
  19. Definitely out there. But i have a sweet spot for the ST184 Celica being as it was my first ride. :P
