  1. yay for bilal!!!!! I'm not worthy :P Serious note though bit thx go out to you bill for all of your efforts and information regarding issues with corollas that other peole didnt have to testicular endowment to bring up with TMCA. Your persistance and raw gut has helped not only us aussies but ppl in other countries get the ball rolling on certain issues. *raises a glass.... Toast to Bill

  9. hahahaha good one Briony :P yeah I think influx was the person that saw me on the TOC forums and got me to come here ;) thats when I was looking at buying the Stivo......but it wasnt long after I bought it that the modding started........and continues to this day ;) Dylan - there is only ever one snowflake :P i think buddha could be the polar bear ;) *raaagh
  10. damn nice look there skitzo ;) mind taking a mould of your wing for us know ? :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P You really are doing some nice things to your rolla...keep up the good work ;)
  11. Giannis glad to see you finally made it here ;) and welcome all the way from GREECE HEY!!!!!!!! I have seen figures of 5-12 kW increases ranging on a number of corollas I think that someone even posted an 18kW gain on this forum if in right? so yes a 5-10% gain is definatley not out of the question for the sportivo/cts
  12. yes...yes we do ...yet another CAI install to add to my tally ;) if we have alot of time on our hands we should do a step by step install guide finally with new pictures for everyone?....how does that sound?
  13. 5-10mins is fine you just need to make sure that it gets to operating temp ie half way on the guage ← we did 5-10 minutes with silvabullets remember !?!?!? and we had to reset it aagain that night at the BP remember? and the longer idling time proved to make the benefit ;)
  14. Congratulations Dave the first 14 sec pass by a Corolla Sportivo that I know of anywhere in AUS I hearby proclaim Screaminrolla as AUS fastest Stivo........anyone disagree?? Now the Bar has been set the challenge is on........do i hear a 14.8 in the wind??? B) FYI - Wei wei ran a 15.350 last night in a stock stivo with only CAI :D
  15. 1 - unplug battery for atleast 30 - 45 minutes (you need to do this when installing CAI anyway ;) ) 2 - reattach terminsals and start car. (making sure a/c etc. are all turned off) 3 - Let car idle (DO NOT TOUCH ACCELERATOR) for 15 - 30 minutes 4 - turn engine off 5 - remove terminals again for 30 - 60 seconds 6 - connect terminals up again and fasten properly 7 - Drive it HARD!!!!
  16. Glad to hear you like it ;) Come to think of it I dont think anyone who has purchsed the TRD CAi for a 1zz/2zz has had a bad reaction to it after the install *bows to the TRD gods* As per camerons post "check all hoses" and also reset the ECU properly. Silvabullit had similar issues with his CAI install untill we reset it again and got it working properly. Then after reseting dont forget to give it some spirited driving (on the track)
  17. I think Rollamods is refering to "Craig" from Extreme Engineerings work not you Mr. Snowflake ← was agreeing with jason's comment on right price actually...but I can see how you constricted that thought though mark :P
  18. Your hoses ren might be a little different to mine as I've only done Stivos :( and not the 1zz :( northy might have a better idea of what you are talking about....?? on the 2zz you simply take the engine cover off and you'll see that some heat resistant foam is holding two of the hoses together. I simply shortened the lentgh of this shroud and seperated the hoses. which made the hose you are talking about easier to move around ;) as my blue VSV is no longer sitting on that bracket which comes off the strut tower either ;)
  19. As I asked gregrysan to mention Dave aka Screaming rolla is coming up for a CES system to be installed on the 25th (fri) so if we could make this cruise for the 26th (sat) that would be great so Dave can get a good feel for the exhaust and get a nice amount of carbon on it before he ventures back home. So again Saturday 26th ..... BE THERE!!!!!!
  20. Aint that the truth :P Glad to hear you got things underway on the new car. Good luck with it all and I hope it goes better than the Stivo :(
  21. glad to hear you ended up giving it a go yourself ren ;) another satisfied CAI owner now I hope!?!?!
  22. I think that might be derek from down the tweed coast area. I have meet him a couple of times. he's got a fine lady friend ;)
