  1. I can just imagine Austin Powers doing it.... "Thats it Baby...give it to me yeah....YES!...YES!.....YES!.......NO NO NO ...................screeeeeeeeeech...BANG!!! :P :P
  2. test
  3. Well paint Protection is sort of like the teflon coating on your frying pan. Makes it real easy to 'wipe' clean but if you scratch it off with a knife and damage the teflon coating then food will stick to the surface easily and make it harder to clean. When you use a cutting agent and some polish's they actually have a very fine sand like material in it which actually takes a fine layer of coating off, hence making it look really nice and shiny So thats why they recommend that you dont polish cars with paint protection on it and just give it a good wash with lots of water and a soft sponge/cloth with soap
  4. I 2nd SRR Meguair's is the best products to use hands down :D Wash once a week. Cut and or polish once every two months. remember that owners with paint protection DO NOT polish their cars
  5. Welcome ZEE :D Another Black Stivo :P and another southerna' ..... I am still onto my dealer as to when i get mine...they still say sometime this week!?
  6. I didn't realise that the rear skirt is not fitted because of the tail pipe!?¿ I was just chatting to Stoopid Head + Shaohaok about it and they filled me in about it :( Not Happy JAN!!!!
  7. interesting lucio .....ill test it out next week in my brand new Stivo for you NOT!!! :P Rolla Boy - You had the time to take out a camera and take a shot of your speedo on a highway whilst doing 220+ ?????? mate thats just silly :P I'll be getting someone else to do it for me when I need photographic proof for people
  8. OUCH!!!!! :o :o Bad Luck mike :( Glad to hear that you didnt hurt yourself though. I had a run in with a dog once in an old honda accord 3 door :( bent the steering arm and buggered the CV joint after trying to dodge a mutt on the road and hitting a gutter and nearly putting the car on its side $900 later :( :( :(
  9. orrock - very indepth look there mate :) Great to see so much technical data getting around in these forums :D Skitzo - My last set of wheels and tyres made out to be $2500 with rubber. @ $600+ a corner you dont want to hit anything at speed or let your girlfreind drive it :P Mine has scrubbed all but one of my wheels on my other car GRRRRR! E-Gene - No worries mate ill add you to the email list :) also have a look at a brand of tyre called 'SAVA' they are a german made Dunlop Tyre....not too expensive and are a great all round tyre...plenty of grip B)
  10. dakota - remember that you take into consideration the profile of the tyre when you add bigger rims :) the larger the diameter in the wheel the smaller the width of the tyre rubber so a 17" wheel will generally have 45mm profile tyres making the overall diameter and the circumfrence the same as the orignal.....therefore no need to adjust the speedo :D Skitzo - I have one of my mates at Bob Jane sorcing a whole heap of 17" and 18" wheels at the moment for me. If you like I could forward on the email to you once he has finished???
  11. E-Gene - Na mate i bought mine up in sunny QLD a nice white one....didnt you get white also??????
  12. Just got off the phone with MEPFILMS Australia. They are the Sister Company to Tint-a-Car. They sent me a sample the other day a really nice Black tint called 'Ultima' Ultima = $275 LifeTime Warranty :D :D :D :D The place that is doing the fitting used to be a Tint-a-Car installer anyway, so they still use same methods etc. They also did my last car and did a GREAT! job.

  21. I hevent got the Stivo to put these in yet, but they are in my falcon ready to be put in next week. Alpine ________ CDA-9807 MP3/WMA Head Unit SPR-694A Type-R 6x9" Coaxial Speakers SPR-176A Type-R 6-1/2' Component Speakers ________ Remember that a MP3 CD can hold up to 200 songs easily (128Kb 44Hz) If you go to an WMA player (like mine) you can actually lower the bit Rate and you still have near CD quality sound in a smaller file. you can fit over 250 songs on them. (and if you use 90 min CD's you can get even more) Also being a single DIN system you have room for something extra to put in.......the choice is yours¿¿¿¿¿¿
  22. thx for the insite ;)
  23. 30 Kw shouldnt be that hard to get surely? anyone got some dyno readouts after installing CAI???? 24. Did the rounds on the phone this arvo at work and I got a hold of 'Premier Tint' They are at Rocklea and they said that they do a 65% tint for the corolla and for $295 with lifetime. (usually $395) I thought that 35% was the darkest leagal tint? and before you ask no its not the heat % reduction or the UV cut out either........if it is 65% thats bloody dark B)
  25. Well the new Stivo is coming next week and as Usual the scorching Queensland Sun needs to be faught against. I had the dealership ask me about the tinting that they offer (MING) and I called them up and got some details from them. I have also called up Tinit-A-Car and got some details from them. I am keen to go back to Tinit-a-Car as i got my last 2 cars done by them and they have been nothing but flawless. Ming - $395 lifetime warranty Tint-a-car (Formaula 1) - $395 25yr warranty tint-a-car Sister company - $275 25 Yr warranty What do you guys have on your rides???? Or anyone else I should call up and talk too????
