I usually do a double-take when there is a late model car with an extra antenna as there's a high chance of them being unmarked. The cop is usually in uniform though. wierd how this guy was in plain clothes.

Dude, Asian parents are like that. They came to this country with nothing and they've seen how tough it can be working 9-5 factory jobs. So they just want the best for you. They see education as a ticket to a better lifestyle, but as you get older you'll realise that that's not the case - it's a means to a job you enjoy. If your course won't get you where you really want to go, then you have to figure what will. At the end of the day it's your life, just work up a little more courage to tell her what YOU want to do. Don't be afraid to try while you're still young, you'll end up wasting more time hanging around wondering what could have been than if you just tried and failed in the first place. If you succeed, even better =) Cheer up dude, life's not so clear cut but things always work out in the end. The scaling didn't bother me when I did it......then again I did get 92.95, and went to a selective high school. My g/f's school got owned hard by the scaling, I think over half the year got under 50. 92.95!?!?! Mofo! less than 8% of people your age where more studious than you. you must feel so alone. hehehe

good to see you can be honest with yourself. I've got a friend who has a social phobia but has been in denial for 10years. He literally hyperventilates before any outing. Man, best thing i can tell you is that people don't dislike you unless you give them a reason to. So be happy and other will be happy around you. farq this is getting to deep. what's wrong with me. HAHAHAA wow what a waste of a year i wasnt suppose to finish yr12 either, got expelled from 2nd school at the end of yr10 and no other public/catholic school was gunna accept me (because i got expelled twice) but LUCKYY lols i found a school who didnt even check reports or what not to get in :) And that school iss....???? Well, that's lot better compared to all-boys school...:s Anw, HSC is pretty stupid... how can u compare different subjects with just a UAI... With subjects gettin scales up & down... It's pretty much tellin us to choose those demanding subjects despite of our interests in anything.. well, it's all weighted so that the UAI cutoffs are applicable to certain courses. It's not a perfect system but it works. No one forces you to go to uni or to pick the subjects you pick. It's all family/social pressure. Do what you're passionate about and things will work out...but don't mistake passion for laziness. I've got friends who are 27 that are still 'waiting' for their calling. focus on a goal but still do other sh*t in the meantime. That's my best advice.

lols um well the preferences i put down were either commerce, interior architecture and computer engineering - oh i think i put media down too (?) but yes, would love love love to get into macq with commerce like omg LOL i would be dead set like i got this hm, but with my assessment marks being all band4s atm and averaging only on a band4 i would most likely only get 70uai LOL which is SH!T because im suppose to be asian :( sobs* well got english tomorrow/today in 8hrs sighs* another 12more days and then im free You're only part Asian, so that might explain it! hahahahahaahahahaha
