unfortunately, the "stupid Asian driver" stereotype is not going to go away any time soon. I don't want this to come off as insensitive, but it seems to me you have to grow some thicker skin. If you get upset everytime someone throws a racial slur your way, you might want to consider some sponsorship deal with a tissue paper company or something. People are usually more than willing or quick to emphasize your differences when throwing insults. It's no good insulting someone while empahsizing similarities. It'll be like someone yelling "Stupid person driving a car!". the whole point is to emphasize that they're something you're not with a negative connotation. I reakon us Asian dudes should start calling each other 'Nippa's' and 'Chinkies' when greeting each other . That'll take the power away from such slurs as insults. Has anyone seen Street Kings? my fav line is: Keanu Reeves: "You have eyes like apostrophes, you talk black, dress white and drive Jew. So how am I supposed to know what you are if you don't" I love that line. If we all start making embracing our differences and making fun of ourselves, we start associating our differences with laughter rather than anger - it takes away it's power.
  3. You mean like this: OK. how did this get so off topic?!? Like i said in the first post. if anyone sees anything, please let me know. Or, if you're feeling generous, feel free to unload a batch of woopass on these MOFO's. They've probably defiled the bike tail anyways so they can have it. I'll sleep better knowing that somewhere out there, my friend, MR PAIN is taking payment for the part.

Unless you where in Thailand and a few other countries, you tend to get that feeling. As long as you're a minority, no matter where you are, someone's always going to treat you differently - it's impossible to escape stereotypes so i usually don't bother. Embrace it!. This is to everyone; if you're Anglo, feel comfort in knowing that you speak the language of the internet. If you're black gloat in the fact that everyone knows you're hung like a stallion. if you're Chinese - YOU KNOW KUNG FU. If you're Japanese, well, one word for you: SONY!. If you're European, YOU OWN MOTHERF'ING MERCEDEZ - be happy people! Only when they're spray-on, and only in the mornings, my friend. hahaha NOTE: none of what i say is to be taken seriously. If you're Chinese aren't, infact, a Shaolin master OR you're African and aren't as endowed as stated, please don't take offense. =)
  5. they're around the $200 mark from whiteline.
  6. I'm running the same rubber with coilovers with about the same drop dialled in as the KYB's. I'll check my wheel offset when i get home. I don't have any scrub issues at all. It also depends on the damping and spring rates too.
  7. If there's no difference except a pretty TRD badge on the strut, go with the KYB and get swaybars with the savings. hehe
  8. Careful though, that can be taken two ways. I interpret that is meaning that the OEM TRD struts are manufactured specificly for the ZZE123 and different to the KYB retail units. I could have misinterpreted what you have said though. Ok Let me try and re word this... KYB shocks for the ZZE123 are a single use only for the Sportivo. Which are different obviously, from the Standard Toyota OEM product. TRD has commissioned KYB to build the Suspension Kit for their use.... After speaking with the supplier i trust from KYB.. he mentioned that the TRD Spec shock absorber and his KYB spec are Identical... which leads me to believe that... the TRD item is just a Rebadged KYB strut. Ah, entienda. Gracias Señor =)

+1,000,000 although it's usually my eyes that people destinguish rather than my skin I think my yellow-brownish skin is an upside, especially in today's tan-crazed Australia. so any pale skin chicks that wanna hook up - you may not be able to permantly change your skin colour - but think of the next generation! As Russell Peter's said, We're all eventually going to be beige anyway. hahaha

  11. many many parts from your car are outsourced to manufacturers. Springs, shocks, exhaust, headlights, seats, dash,....etc it's all made by someone else and supplied to the car manufacturer. China, Malaysia, Vietnam..etc where do you think seat upholstry comes from? that sh*t ain't sewing itself

I find dealing with racist pr1cks similar to dealing with Diarrhea - painful to deal with at the time and often gives you a sick feeling, but onces that ***** has passed and they go back to joining the other turds, you feel a whole lot better, and with a short passing of time, you'd have forgotten all about it. I find comfort in the fact that they actually have to say something utterly offensive to get a reaction from me. Meanwhile, all i need to do is merely exist for them to burst a blood vessel - i spend less energy for a reaction, therefore I WIN!
  13. yeah language freedom on that forum is f'ing awesomeness =) p.s sorry about that, my bike didn't have time to apply it's make up - it was an inpromptu photoshoot. And to everyone else; I really didn't take offence to the "bike is ugly" statement. I'm sure she meant it as a compliment in her Mrs. Sportivo kind of way. If she said "i hate bikes" then i would be seriously offended. And to her defence, i'm sure she looks a whole lot better in real life - in which case, because of her age, would make her "jailbait", so we won't go there. I don't see what everyone has against Mrs. Sportivo. Sure she's sometimes rude, direct, opinionated, and occasionally insensitive - but as a forum prodominantly full of men, who can truly say we aren't guilty of such crimes? Also, if you're in the mood for euphemisms; the afromentioned traits can also be described as 'outspoken', which according to Big Brother viewers, is a good thing.
  14. OMG. I've seen a few of you photos already - That is some SICK-***** photography! did you take these shots? Are these HDR images? their awesome!
  15. Hey guys, just letting you know that someone stole the tail fairings from my bike while i was parked at work yesterday in the city =( Here is a link to some pics of the crime scene: http://www.cbr250.com/cbr250/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=52064 Can you guys please let me know if you see it? It's most likely gone forever but i thought i'd put the info out there anway.
  16. it depends on your wheels and their offset. From memory, the stock wheels worked fine with King superlows for all the members that have that setup. someboy correct me if i'm wrong.
  17. I want to know what you typed in google to bring that up. hahaha. some combination of the words "Ball", "Sack", and "Condom".
  18. don't blindly believe statistics. They are just numbers taken out of context and shifted around to say what you want them to say. the figures don't take into account the growing population or the increase in the number of cars on the road. How are you giving them more time to learn esp at night when you're actually restricting the number of hours that can drive during the night? I don't see the logic there.
  19. what is it with girls and noticing small details? "Ooooh, the anttena is brocken" or "Oooh, why is there lipstick on your collar?"

ARgh!!! i volunteer to be the "SPAMINATOR" for the forum. Any mods want to grant me those access rights? hehe
  21. Xploshun for member of the month!! dude, you're probably responsible for half the CAI's in the forum. =)
  22. jeebus! Those original chassis rails are completely foooked up. Good luck with the build. Honestly though, i would always have doubts in my mind about the crash readiness of such a repaired car. Also, I'm assuming the airbags where deployed. any luck sourcing a new Sportivo dash?
  23. You know what... I applaud the guts. I really do - I couldn't do it... But, unfortunately, the western world is being plagued by mutton dressed as lamb (with attitude to boot), due to never hearing the word "no" as a child. So, Sketra, you've posted your photos all over this joint to the tunes of "do you think I'm hot", or "I'm gonna be an autosalon girl", and "hey do you think my tattoo will be hot?"... and (nothing personal) I can assure you will probably not make the cut. I'm not saying you are at all unattractive, but so far your portfolio hasn't exactly impressed me. If it hasn't impressed me, how is it going to impress the fashionistas? If you cant take some flack here, how are you gonna take it in front of the cameras? I honestly do hope you prove me wrong, for the sake of some young girl out there actually living her dream (and I will post a cheer of encouragement for you if you do make it)... but to be quite frank, if you make TV it will probably be as one of the Idol rejects.... I pray your next thread isn't to the tune of "Hey guys, I'm gonna be in next month's homegirls section of Picture magazine! OMG!" that's some seriously tough love dude =p. Skeptra, take that as constructive criticism. You don't know if you can do something until you try. If you try and fail it's better than the millions of ppl sitting at home thinking about doing something but making excuses because they're scared of rejection and failure. Plus, if you don't make it on the show, we'll still love ya (as long as you keep posting your pics up from time to time) hahahaha
  24. I've only got one bumper sticker that i use to conceal the anti-tailgating machines guns
  25. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...8061502199.html "Watch out for cars with bumper stickers. That's the surprising conclusion of a recent study by Colorado State University social psychologist William Szlemko. Drivers of cars with bumper stickers, window decals, personalized license plates and other "territorial markers" not only get mad when someone cuts in their lane or is slow to respond to a changed traffic light, but they are far more likely than those who do not personalize their cars to use their vehicles to express rage -- by honking, tailgating and other aggressive behavior.
