  1. Same here.. already told Duy I won't be going due it being right in the middle of my final exam period. Guess it's just the oldies on this one.. Peter.
  2. Four words: BEAUTIFUL WEATHER! AWESOME DRIVE! I believe we owe you a cruise your way. TBH, I reckon just a meet or maybe a BBQ at some park; somewhere we can all chat and take scenic photos will suffice. Doesn't always have to be a spirited drive. :) Hahaha it was definitely worth the wash! Absolutely beau weather!! :D Andy: Let me know if you want go-karts and I'll easily organise one! Say November meet? (after I finish)
  3. Hahaha up to you (little or younger) Peter (WAY TOO MANY PETERS :P). If you want to see how coilovers are, ask me or tomee and we'll happily show you. If you want how springs are, ask any of the other ZRE boys. :) My kings will still be sitting here.. Haha! P.s. when are you free this week? I want to colour-code my front lip!! (and excuse not to do work) Peter.
  4. Due to Tash's request, I'm going to wash my car now. And no I'm not crazy, I've just finished work! :P Peter.
  5. I believe you can update your sig, to the recent photos with your twin..
  6. Depends if you want breaky or not..hehe 9 to 9.30? Wouldn't take more than 30mins to get to Lilydale right? I only eat the raisen toast off the brekkie menu so i can do without and yeah about 30mins to Lilydale Ok... let's say 9.20am meet at that maccas?
  7. Yellow foggies ftmfw!!!!!! I believe a group ZRE shot is in order..
  8. Yep, sounds like a reasonable way to go! It's not hard anyway and even easier now since we've done them. Thanks Vinh! Hope you're loving it...wait I know you are!! :P Yeah, only took 30-40mins with normal springs because we were trying not to touch the shocks/springs! Next time would be quick as, remove the springs straight away! The flat bolts were actually at the bottom and the round allen (hex) key screws were at the top..but yes, clears them perfectly! I was worried it wasn't going to.. Last cruise? Mate, I reckon it's "future cruise TBA!!" :P
  9. Depends if you want breaky or not..hehe 9 to 9.30? Wouldn't take more than 30mins to get to Lilydale right?
  10. Anyone from South-east, a possible pre-meet place is Maccas on the corner of Springvale Road and Maroondah Hwy! Anyone? Andy, deecaf, Lee, Trung? Peter.
  11. Peter, the ZRE142 (US Altis) stuff won't fit our aussie ZREs due to us having a torsion beam rear while they don't. (Remember how I was saying it for coilovers? :)) The Cusco rear sway (942 311 B16) however, I believe fits the Rukus, Prius and our ZREs. Peter.

  13. Yep, next time we're buying stuff off them!! :D Yep, I took photos but it's on Vinh's camera. He'll post them. The screws connecting from the suspension to the bracket are allan key type screws and from the bracket to the bar are just normal screws and bolts. :) I believe your custom K-mac setup is similar to Cusco's? We found out that it was a bit more hassle putting the rear sway onto cars with fat springs rather than cars with coilovers.. Yeah, I was surprised too! Did you put yours on yourself or got someone to put it on? Peter.
  14. Yep, there's one here with your name on it!! :D
  15. Love this ride Pete! Really want to see this in person! Hehe Peter.
  16. Also, the VIC September meet (click here) if you haven't seen it already and a SneezeINC cruise to Sugarloaf on the 2nd of October.. Good sh*t mate.. the Rukus is definitely growing on me! Peter.
  17. Yes, try to come mate. I believe I have only met you once, and that was a while ago! Hahaha Hehehe I do need a new sig...
  18. If you just want a nice drop (but not crazy drop), go low fronts and superlows rear. And you should start looking at the ZRE FAQ while you wait for your car! Yeah, OK then, I see what you mean... 18" = no scrubbing at all :P Yeah ive got 18s to n i have had no dramas with scrubbing at all.. mine n my mates tyres are 225/40/R18... Hey Wy, you should post the offset you guys are running. :) Peter.
  19. Hey Andy, what is planned for after lunch? I'm tempted to ditch my projects and come..Haha Peter.
  20. Looking at previous models ('03 ZZE, late? '05 ZZE, '07 ZRE, late '09 ZRE), it's about 2 years apart between each pre-facelift and facelift. I know it's not accurate but you can roughly guess it. I think the earliest the new model come out will be late '11 if not '12. I would say get it (quality & reliability: Toyota > Subaru). Should also look at the VW Golf 108TSI. A friend has it with sports part and it's an awesome little hatch also. Quality is decent but cost and running costs are slightly higher than the Corolla. Not sure about the 18" Kappas but it should be okay? Heaps of ZRE guys are running wheels wider than 7". The only thing would be the offset, but I'm not sure about that. Peter.
  21. John, I LOL'd at this while in class and everyone looked at me..Hahaha
  22. That would be great! also i called up king springs head office in qld and they told me that the correct way to install the springs is with the closer coils at the top meaning my rears are in correct and dwees were upside down :S??? if thats what they say is right then ill take there word for it! Not sure about the rears (I didn't do them) but just checked the fronts. It's a direct fit (as it's supposed to be). Lower part of front shocks: Upper part of front shocks: Now, need to get these bad boys off asap! Hehe Peter.
