  1. Hey Marc, Not sure, I don't believe there's a short shifter out there for the ZRE but I could be wrong... Let's see what the others have to say. Edit:
  2. You said the oil still looks golden, up to you whether to change it but I would, since you're doing a 6000-7000kms road trip anyway. A part from tire pressures, might pay to check the rotors and brake pads to see if they require changing. Carry extra oil, radiator fluid and tools with you just in case. The camry (as most other cars), would be fine for the trip if it's looked after. :)
  3. Should really start processing photos from the Annual Meet! Haha

    1. Hiro

      Hiro

      Yes, yes you should....

  4. I'm not baws like Justin and my lens is too exxy to scrape it on the road; I'll just stick it out the window haha.
  5. Hey mate, Sounds a bit weird. What headunit did you install? When you say you left out a few wires, is this from the new headunit side or wires from the rolla? From the top of my head, there shouldn't be any wires left over from the rolla side.. So technically, shouldn't affect the keyless entry in any way. You however, may have blown the fuse for it; have you had a look at the fuse box? Pete.
  6. SLRs out the window like a bawsssssss! :D
  7. I just changed my pants... Photoshoot soon buddy!
  8. Listen to Justin! Chuck a 20v in it!
  9. Yeah TRD strut (LHD) and TRD front sway. Shehan, it will be a bit of work but let us know. :)
  10. Are you referring to a 'UNICHIP' or similar? I've heard they don't do much.. You're better getting a piggyback ecu (not sure one is available for the Rav).
  11. Tracking? Awesome dude! You'd be surprised what it can handle.. And you're definitely taking me to a go karts track in Syd next time I'm up there!
  12. That exhaust tip makes it look so much more aggressive! Haha good stuff. Rims and coils would definitely be awesome. Drove an AE112R (silver too) on my Ls and Ps; loved driving it!
  13. I have just remembered; you can buy the TRD strut from the US (if there's any left). John from here bought one from the US when ZREs first came out (and there were not many aftermarket parts). He had problems as the American ZREs are LHD and hence, the power steering fluid was in the way.
  14. Love it mate! Shame we never got the 3 door over here!
  15. lol never told me you spotted me buddy :P and did you see me first, or hear me? lol Hahaha yeah I did, in whatsapp. I saw you first, everything else sounds quiet when you're driving a diesel :P On Saturday night 10pm after the Annual Meet dinner, saw two stivo's parked near Lygon St. One was white, looked fairly stock or might have been on lows; and the other was blue and looked like Micko's old stivo...
  16. Thanks heaps man, quick response! So simple! P.s. Come out to meets more often! :P
  17. Sorry to bring up an old thread. Came across this when I was searching the forums. Thinking about buying roof racks for the Rav4 to carry my snowboards. My question has two parts to it: 1) What are people's thoughts about buying an OEM roof rack off ebay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Roof-Rack-TOYOTA-RAV4-06-10-Roof-Rails-Cross-Bars-/120635458835?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c166f0513#ht_4031wt_1130) and buy the snowboard adapter bars? 2) If I buy the OEM roof racks off ebay, how does it attach to the roof if it says "no cutting, no drilling"? Thanks, Pete.
  18. My parents have the '10 Rav4 2.4L CV 4WD (auto); highway is about 10-11L/100kms and about 12-13L/100kms start-stop driving (and probably less figures for manual). So everyone is doing about the same. The 2.4L is in fact less economical than the V6 Rav. Remember that the Rav4 weighs about 1.5 tonnes and how fast you accelerate. I remembered one time I was overtaking heaps back from a snow trip and got 15L/100kms on the highway.
  19. Doooo it! :) We all need to grow some money trees! :D
  20. Hey guys, my mate Chris that tagged along covers for Street-Cover; here it is! :) http://www.street-co...tocau-meet.html
  21. I normally would be coming from the east, but I just remembered I'll be going Falls Creek that weekend so I'll have to pass on this... :( Go with Cee-Lo.
  22. It depends on how long between track days. Like Dave said above, have a check before and after. If you're tracking quite regularly, changing it after should be suffice.
  23. Cusco: front/rear sway, front strut, front underbody brace C-One (discontinued): front sway, front strut TRD: front sway Greddy: front strut K-Mac: rear sway
  24. Not a problem! The more the merrier! If you live in the west, meet the westside boys at Sunshine VicRoads at 7:30-8am. :)
