  1. Good work :) What brand bearings did you use for the shifter cables??? They look 110% better than the old ones :/
  2. Both services are the same, replace oil and oil filter and check over the rest of the vehicle, so it doesn't matter which one you choose...
  3. Yeah, the release bearing will always come with the kit... I think the loctite I use is 242, removable type and blue in colour...
  4. Interested in the original exhaust pieces, can arrange courier to pick up from you... How much you after for the standard pipe and muffler???
  5. 1 - Always a good idea to change the rear main seal at the same time, saves you trouble changing it later... 2 - Unsure sorry... 3 - Only bolts that need loctite are the flywheel bolts... Pressure plate, gearbox and engine bolts don't need it... 4 - There is no spigot bearing in a FWD box, but make sure to replace the clutch release bearing and grease the input shaft and release fork in the correct contact points...
  6. You want rubber then go genuine... Parts aren't that expensive at all...
  7. I've got a stock headunit from my 05 Corolla CD plays MP3 aswell, black in colour - chasing $80 for it... I'm on Sydney North Shore...
  8. Look into aftermarket alarm systems as some will have this feature...
  9. Might just need the codes cleared... Best off taking it to a dealer and using the IT scan tool...
  10. http://tinypic.com/r/m8319u/7 Thats the one :)
  11. I've got one from a 2005 Corolla, MP3 CD player, code has been cleared from the dealer... Also comes with the user manual... $80 and it's yours...
  12. Throw another 22R in it for now, save your pennies and maybe look at selling and upgrading around Christmas???
  13. I'd be pulling the crank pulley off and checking the locating pin, could be loose, missing or worn away, also check the crank as that could also be worn...
  14. Look underneath the seat and see if the wiring connector is plugged in to start with... If not, plug it in :) If it is, then start checking for power and earth, if it's got both the wire inside the seat base could have come loose or the sensor may need to be replaced...
  15. Rebuild the box you're looking at about 4k inc parts and labour, brand new box is 3k (japanese from Celica) and plus labour, if you're gunna fix it and can't find second hand, I recommend getting a new one, and replace the clutch at the same time with something better than standard but not too rough or you'll add more stress to the box...
  16. My figures vary all the time in the Sportivo, normal driving to work and back and a trip up north got me 680kms but more spirited driving gets me around 350kms... So 700 in a 1.5 Yaris would be very do-able, but not in the auto that you've got... I'd say that figure it more from a manual model...
  17. Pre-facelift fascia is $150, facelift is $280 lol... I just took the spring out and cut some velcro strips, all fixed now :) If anyone wants a fascia to suit a non sportivo corolla with the plain black I have one with a repaired flap :)
  18. I'm running 215/35/R19 on mine so your 17's will fit with no issues :)
  19. Got a brand new one from toyota today for $150, but it's plain silver without the little check pattern in it... Will take it back Monday and swap it for the correct one... Was going to buy a wrecker one but for $150 would prefer to go the brand new one :)
  20. Think I'll be working there, no car entered though...
  21. Looks pretty minor, replace the panels and straighten the upper support... That'll get repaired...
  22. Jam protection is kicking in... Check the window seal and make sure it's not kinked or ill fitting anywhere... Also, does it have a weathershield??? Clips could be making the seal stick out too far... Once you've made sure the seal is sitting in correctly, you have to remove and seperate the motor and regulator, wind the motor up and back down then half way... Connect everything back up and should work fine...
  23. Possibly crap fuel... Try filling up with something else... Had 3 cars in at work with the same problem also including mine that didn't want to start at all last week... Always used Caltex 98 from the same servo... They got a makeover and got all new pumps, filled up and a day later didn't want to start... Went on the same for a few days till one morning it took about 3 constant minutes cranking over till it started... Went to BP that afternoon and filled up with BP Ultimate 98 to mix in with the remaining 1/4 tank of Caltex, been fine since that :)
  24. BNS70Y and BNS20Y - Pretty self explanitory :)
