  1. the guy i sold the TTE spoiler to wanted to sell it after i sold it to him, his gf didnt like it. sorry but i've lost his number. As you can tell, im pretty indecisive with all these parts. <_<
  2. copy is great. I took a photo of the copy next to the OEM spoiler a while back. if i can find it i'll post it up. Here are some photos of the spoiler when i had it on. No External brake light There is also a melbourne seller, gonzo bro's in tullamarine.
  3. that jazz is lower than half the cars there
  4. go to your local automative paint store and get them to mix up the colour of your car. Use your spare primer to prime, colour code the chrome for a clean look B). Then clear coat it, while you're there, clear coat the badge as well?
  5. wow 3400 for one seat?! you might as well get the recaro's with TRD embroided in them. around 1.8k for one seat + cost of rails.
  6. thats fair enough P_T. I was on the whirlpool forums and someone recently purchased one for 30k drive away. I do understand your frustration, i think most corolla owners on here do, but most of us have just accepted that it is a corolla. Lets just hope toyota does choose to enter the hot hatch market.
  7. P_T, i was just wondering was it your choice to purchase a corolla? because you dont seem to like it very much. I agree the cup holders in front of the vents is stupid, but there is a cup holder in the middle. The pointless area under the shifter is a great area for leaving an ipod etc. I've fed a usb cable behind my headunit and under there which is where my ipod sits, so it hides the cable nicely. If you compare the levin to other hatches with 130kw+ power, you need to remember it costs an extra 10k for those cars. Civic type r, wrx, golf gti, mazda mps. They generally cost over 40k brand new. A levin ZR can be bought for 30k brand new and is in a different class to those cars. The toyota blade is in that class of cars, but it sucks that toyota australia wont sell them. Now comparing the levin zr to other hatches in its class, subaru impreza rs (35k new), mazda 3 maxx sport (30k brand new), golf 118 tsi (40k), polo gti (35k). Which would you choose?
  8. mums got a zze 2002 sedan. 140,000km on the clock. never misses a service. Has only needed to change the brakes. At the moment it vibrates alot at idle so will have a look at that at the next service. Besides that, its running strong!
  9. i guess if you're worried about future resale value than id say sell the sportivo now and get the FN2. As long as your FN2 looks stock, i cant see it getting anyone's attention to key it. My only factor would be insurance.
  10. yeah Tom, i lost interest for it a while back and was going to sell parts i didnt put on, but now im back into it. I've got two front lips coming in the future months.
  11. wow you got a good price for your bumper. Just got a price for my rear spoiler, 300-350 and i've done half the prep work.
  12. would love to see a picture of your interior!
  13. Love the work arc! makes me feel like i should get off my ***** and finish off my audio system and finish painting my body kit.
  14. I guess it comes down to what you define as 'hot' and 'sporty'. any stock car would never get my attention on the road unless it was a Lamborghini or lotus etc. however once a car is modified with good taste then I reckon that's hot. just check out juvenile, dutchie and le.vinh.zr's Rolla's, private's camry and davo's aurion, they're all hot! :D if you want a sporty fast car than toyota cars aren't in the right market for you. I say this because most of their cars have no grunt, but at that cost, they are super reliable and perfectly fine for everyday driving. who needs a 300kw daily when fuel is expensive and there's speed limits on our roads. In the end it's up to you so save up for a car that meets your needs, and if you don't like something about the car, go and modify it until you're happy with it :D
  15. if you're not in a hurry then i would leave the primer to cure for a few days just to be safe. Its a little more work to paint your badge, have it go bad when you paint the base then start all over again by sanding it all off. If you have something you dont need, go test it by spraying some primer then acrylic over it. Or just wait and go exchange the spray can tomorrow?
  16. well its a hit and a miss for some people. Some people say its fine if you let the primer fully cure. This means they wait around 2-7 days for the paint to dry. If you're unlucky then your base coat will crack when it is sprayed on. If you find that it takes too long, then go down a grade of sandpaper, im guessing you're using 480 grit? If so use 240. Some say you just need to scuff the paint, some choose to remove it all, its up to you.
  17. i havent been to one of these little meets for AGES. Great photos vsop! we should have a massive zre meet like they do in japan. so many modellista rear lips as well.

  19. try to refund your enamel primer for a plastic primer. It'd work much better. I dont think acrylic can be painted over enamel, wierd stuff happens when you start mixing paints.
  20. i have no idea, they're quite old. Im thinking its best to go to my optom and having a talk with him.
  21. I am short sighted and need glasses to see far away or at night. However, i've noticed that the lights glare through my glasses and it is really bad during busy traffic. I dont drive in peak hour much so it has not bothered me. I was just wondering if this is normal or should i go get new glasses?
  22. i get this sometimes as well. It happened today while waiting at the lights. Its only happened around 3 times over 1 and a half years.
  23. yep. 300 all up for prepping, priming and painting. I havent had much experience with either. I use a different panel beater closer to my place. But generally people from the south go to dt, and those in the west go to primal.
  24. Yep, DT panels are good, very busy as well though. If not there's also primal garage in west footscray. I say you're looking at roughly 300 for a bumper respray, no more than that.
  25. i think this is for a yaris from the pictures in the listing.
