  1. Hey guys, I've got a set of Genuine ZRE side skirts up for sale for those interested. I had intended on putting them on but i've changed my mind. These are a picture of it a while back. The silver one had been sanded down. My friend and i tried to spray it ourselves and the clear coat turned out real bad. So now its currently being sanded down again. I'll have a better picture up tomorrow. Asking for $400. Im located in melbourne for those who want to pick up and i can send through a courier. If you're interested then throw me an offer :)
  2. Looks like Davo has some competition... :P Just a picture i found from minkara, its a wax or polish called Vin?
  3. im sure many zre owners would love it if you could! :D
  4. How much should i be paying to get a rear bumper, rear spoiler, 1 side skirt and front lip painted?

  6. looks like Davo has got TOCAU hooked on his autoglym method, because I bought super resin polish earlier today :D
  7. ZRE owners. does the steering wheel need removing when installing the foglight stalk?

  8. i've got a set of zze steel wheels if you're interested. the tyres are shot and i dont need them so i'll give it to you for cheap. im in melbourne as well. i just need to double check whether they're still in my parents garage or if they through them out
  9. oh man.... the TTE spoiler and lip look so good... it makes me regret selling it <_<
  10. im glad you like it man :) cant wait to see the lip on as well
  11. awesome. this is perfect timing :D just got my levin spoiler as well. im sure it requires drilling in the car at some point to allow the brake light cable to go through. Can levin owners show us a picture of where the cable goes through for their car.
  12. hrrmm.. things are starting to sound a bit complicated. I dont wanna blow a fuse or anything so i'll either leave this to an auto electrician or get the OEM stalk. thanks again DJKOR!
  13. thanks for the help djkor! i have the foglights connected to the stock wiring. What ive tried to do is connect the switch to the cables right behind the relay. After a bit of reading i thought i would need to connect the acc cable to pin 86. So far i have the ACC from the switch connected to a wire behind Pin 1(i assume is 86). I have the switch grounded at a point under some of the panels where other electricals are grounded. I reconnected the battery to test the wiring and this is what happened. 1. No lights switched on, the foglight doesnt turn on and no dash indicator. 2. I turned on the parkers, the foglight switch illuminates on the actual button, i push the button in and the light on the actual button goes off, the light on the dash is on indicating the foglights are on. I assumed it would always work after that and havent tried to turn until recently. Now what happens is, on no lights, parker and low beams; I push the foglight switch on, and another light illuminates on the actual button and there is no indicator on the dash for the foglights. The foglights do not turn on either How would you wire it up if you had to? Can the ground for my switch effect it?
  14. ok just a little update, these arent working anymore. They havent worked since i've tested them. So can someone shed some light on what they think can work? Im pretty sure im not wired into the right wire, but i dont want to go splicing away. I'll be either booking this in to an auto electrician or get a factory stalk in a week if i dont have it working.
  15. yeah thats normal. When you flick the parker and low beams on the dash just lights up. Thats about it. High beams have that blue light. Foglights also have a green light to indicate that its on. If you ever forget that they're on there's always the crazy beep when you open the door and leave the lights on.
  16. haha bundoora park, i love that place, i did cross country there back in high school and live 5 minutes away from there. sorry but i cant make it for this one, i wont be in melbourne that weekend. I'll give my view on bundoora park. It is a great family park and has many good BBQ locations. You'll need to get in early though because it gets really busy on the weekends. Im unsure of how the parking spaces are now, but i know the parking for the River Red Gum picnic reserve is gravel. If you guys want to park together so you can shoot photos then people will need to come on time or find another location for a photoshoot. There's not much else to the place, just alot of grass.
  17. TTE front lip and levin side skirts. Only problem is that you cant get parts directly from TTE anymore and only from toyota dealer in Europe. Which sucks.
  18. I got mine for my corolla for 99c :D off ebay. No one wanted them so i was very happy with that since my car didnt have any. They were genuine and brand new as well. So if you're not in a rush just wait on ebay until someone post there ones up. or be unique and do a DIY with your own material. You already have the shape of the mats since you have your old ones.
  19. I decided today to fix my foglight wiring. i wired it randomly and one day in the car, i pushed the switch and it worked, with the foglight indicator on the dash. With the wiring this way i can only turn it on once every few hours. I've been trying to read up quite a bit on the net but now im confused. My few questions are: What is pin 1 and 2 on my relay? i know its either 85 or 86 but cant tell. Pin 3 is 30 and 5 is 87. I assumed 1 was 86. How do i wire up the switch? Here is a picture of my switch. The red wiring come together to make 1 wire which is the power. The white is the ACC. The black is the ground. GTL0ST tried to help me. This is how his one is wired up. Wy only has the ACC (yellow cable) wired and the red cabled grounded. Any help and explanations would be greatly appreciated! Diagrams would be awesome. thankyou! UPDATE. I've got it working :D i just realised that all i need to do is have the parkers on then turn the foglights on and off. They work all the time now :D:D
  20. i think phat_azn has that kit. Looks great on the zre sedan! also blacken your headlights
  21. since people are on this topic. Can someone suggest me a good suspension place in melbourne? I've read that some people have had their springs installed for $100-200. I've called up a few places and the lowest quote i've had is 240 with wheel alignment. Most of the other places have been quoting $300+
  22. nah, i doubt my dad even got it checked, so i was thinking i should go to the mechanic myself. Thanks heaps for the video! i'll give this a shot this weekend and see what happens.
  23. sorry. its an automatic 2.4 litre engine. I forgot what the engine is. i am unsure of what had been changed during the engine change. 5/6 minutes might be an over estimate. But my dad usually drives around with one leg on the accel at all times then braking with the other leg for that long just to be sure it'll keep running. What i dont get is why it would run fine once its warm. ignition turns fine and the car just runs hassle free.
  24. Hey guys, my dad has a 2002 Camry. Over a year ago he blew the engine because he hadnt had it serviced for 40,000km's then drove it around with a blown water pump. The body was still immaculate at the time so we decided to put a new engine in. The engine is fine when running and warm but it doesnt turn on properly when cold. If i turn the key to turn the car on it goes rur rur rur and the engine turns on for a split second, then i'd let go of the key and the engine will turn off. The only way to have the engine running is to rev the car up yourself at around 1.5rpm for around 5/6 minutes. The car will turn on perfectly fine when its warm and has been running. It seems as though the rpm's are too low to keep the car running. I've told my dad to go to the mechanic but apparently he has and they said nothings wrong with it. <_< because of that i plan to fix it myself If anyone has any idea how to fix this or had similar issue then please let me know. thanks tocau! :D
